We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Stable solution at a good price.""Stable product that's easy to set up compared to other MDM products.""We are using the mobile feature, and we are also using MDM to lock the devices, to push restrictions, et cetera""It's not working perfectly, but Microsoft's Autopilot offers great visibility into automated deployment solutions.""We have a BYOD policy, and this solution helps us manage our devices.""It works well if you have a Microsoft environment.""The solution is easy to use.""It is a helpful tool to manage BYOD policies."

Cons
"The reporting needs to be a bit more interactive.""The reporting and cost have room for improvement.""The reports that are generated aren't so great. They don't give a lot of meaning so far, but that could be down to user knowledge than the actual reporting side of things. I'm not a big user of it, but I was a bigger user of MaaS360, and we used to be able to run weekly and monthly reports. In the case of any deviations. we'd get a warning immediately. That's not so easy to do or to get in place for Intune. This could be just a user issue, but when I compare both, that's the only thing that's lacking for me.""It would be helpful if there was proactive remediation.""What would make this product better is adding more security policies and features in the next upgrade.""It would be beneficial to have a more straightforward understanding of Intune's capabilities, presented in a simplified manner.""There are items that require improvements. One is the controls from iOS.""The installation could be improved to be simplified."

"It would be good if Adaptiva had everything on the cloud rather than having one server on-premises."

    Reviews from Real Users

Microsoft Intune stands out among its competitors for a number of reasons. Two major ones are its ability to secure all devices under its management and the flexibility that the solution offers its users.

A computing services manager notes, "Its security is most valuable. It gives us a way to secure devices, not only those that are steady. We do have a few tablets and other devices, and it is a way for us to secure these devices and manage them. We know they're out there and what's their status. We can manage their life cycle and verify that they're updated properly."

The head of IT engineering at a financial services company writes, "The one feature we find most useful is the Mobile Application Manager. There are two types: we have the complete MDM and the Mobile Application Manager (MAM). We don't give our users phones, it is their own personal phone, and we need to allow them to have access to the company details on their phone. We need to create a balance between their own personal data and the company data. We deploy the Mobile Application Manager for them so that we won't be able to interfere with their own personal data."
