Find out in this report how the two Wireless WAN solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The most valuable feature is reliability."
"The GUI is user-friendly and the dashboards are good."
"The product keeps up with leading-edge technology so we have dependability and scalability."
"They offer per-user tunneling to a variety of endpoints."
"We don't know this product very well yet, but what we have used so far and what we like are user control, bandwidth, and access."
"Once Aruba Wireless is set up and configured correctly, you just walk away. That's what we like about it. We have some devices that are six or seven years old, which is rare in the wireless world because everything changes so quickly, but in some banks and municipalities, it just keeps working."
"It's stable and reliable."
"Aruba Central seems to be a good way to go in cloud management. However, compared to Cisco Meraki, it's still very early days."
"The claim management feature is exceedingly simple."
"It's a good product and works well when there is a lot of interference."
"It eliminates the need for additional controllers, reducing costs."
"It is a stable solution."
"It is highly scalable. I would rate the scalability a ten out of ten."
"The feature that I really liked is the mesh feature. Currently, we are in quarantine, and the request of home users is that they need to cover the whole house or the whole indoor house. Mesh solution works really nice in Cambium environment. Being able to set up access points in advance is a good feature. It lets you set up the whole environment in your lab or any other place before deploying the access points."
"The pricing of the product is very, very reasonable."
"The most valuable features for network performance in the solution are reliability and centralized management through a single controller."
"Device integration has room for improvement in Aruba Networks Wireless WAN."
"We do not have direct access to Aruba’s Mesh portal."
"There is room for improvement in the pricing, it's quite a premium."
"When it comes to configuring rules for file security tests, any issues that arise can be referred to as "glitches". Despite the extensive configurations required, the process itself is not overly complicated."
"We'd like to have a bit more artificial intelligence incorporated into existing products."
"The only issues are the configuration problems that impact the stability of the solution."
"It is a little bit cumbersome to configure. If you're designing a WLAN and you want to do and cover certain types of clients, you really have to know different settings and how they interact with one another. If they could automate that so that if you are designing for one type of equipment, you could, in essence, run a wizard. That would certainly save on a lot of calls to tech support."
"In a meshed environment, the handoff between access points is sometimes not smooth when users are mobile. For example, a connection is occasionally interrupted when a user takes their laptop from the gym to the cafeteria."
"There is no good technical support available for Cambium Networks Wireless WAN."
"It has voucher generation. These vouchers are provided to the customers. It would be great if there is a possibility to integrate these vouchers with the system that vendors use to print the receipts. For example, if you go to Starbucks, they provide you a receipt, and in that receipt, you have the code for the Wi-Fi network. I would like some kind of integration or API that can be integrated into any other system for generating such receipts. It would be a really nice feature. It has the cnMaestro portal that normally an integrator sets up. When you deploy this solution to a user, rather than generating a Cambium account, I would like to share this console with the users so that they can at least see the stability of the network and not necessarily trust what I said. It also allows the customers in visualizing the way that they are connecting and the way the network is behaving. I have been in touch with the Cambium team for these features, but they don't yet have the final answer. It is kind of hard to get these solutions immediately. It is a bit challenging to bring these devices to Lima, Peru, or to get Cambium from the distributors. They need to import these devices."
"If someone wants to go to the location-based portal of the product, like the one available in Meraki, it would not be possible, and it is an area that needs improvement."
"The product could have more access points to increase the network coverage."
"I think this product could be improved if It were SMS based. If I have a visitor in my office, I'd like to be able to send them the wireless password as a message via SMS, so I don't have to give it out."
"Cambium Networks Wireless WAN could improve by providing a better signal range."
"The installation is difficult."
"One drawback is that Cambium's on-premises controller needs internet connectivity for installation, which can be a problem for clients who want it offline."
