"Sometimes it's more user friendly for development teams. There are some parts of Datadog that are more understandable for development teams. "The query builder could be better. In comparison to other monitoring tools, in order to use Azure Monitor, your engineers need to have KQL experience. If they don't, it's not intuitive as a system."
"The troubleshooting logs need improvement. There should be some improvement there. I have a hard time finding the right logs at the right times whenever there is an issue occurring."
"Lacks information including details related to where problems lie."
"They should include advanced logging on the database level in the Azure pool."
"It's really complex to retrieve or query the logs in Azure Monitor."
"Delta traces on the Golang profiler are extremely expensive concerning memory utilization."
"The pricing should be less of a surprise."
"The sheer amount of products that are included can be overwhelming."

"More pre-configured "Monitor Alerts" would be helpful."
"We primarily use the log management functionality, and the only feedback I have there is better fuzzy text searching in logs (the kind that Kibana has)."
