We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It's very easy to use and quite accessible for everybody.""Offers great flexibility.""Dropbox allows me to organize files well. I can name files in such a way as to lead students to the right destination.""One of the most useful features of Dropbox is its ease of use.""I like the synchronization, and the integration with Microsoft Office is good.""I had a good experiment with the technical support from Dropbox.""Dropbox is easy to use.""The security is very good."

"It is good as a central hub for the storage of documents and sharing among team members.""It helps you keep organized.""It is well integrated with other Microsoft products.""The most valuable feature of the solution is the amount of space allotted to each user that is issued a subscription.""Scalability is good just because it is a cloud-based product.""Being able to use OneDrive as a mapped drive in Windows Explorer is the most valuable feature. Rather than using OneDrive on a browser, you can also open up the Windows Explorer and I can see the file structure in the normal format.""With this solution, the sharing of documents if very easy to do. There's a lot of collaboration you can do with your colleagues.""It was extremely easy to setup."

Cons
"The arrangement of documents can be simplified. Personally, I am used to it, but for a new user, it might be a little confusing. It can maybe have a feature to allow people to collaborate or work on the same document at the same time. I'm just using it to load and access information, and I haven't faced many challenges. However, I have seen that the whole system or laptop slows down a bit when I am synchronizing files to Dropbox. I don't know if it is because of my system. It might be good if they can enhance the synchronization process so that we can specify that synchronization should be done after 30 minutes. In addition, synchronization should only be done for the documents that have been uploaded.""It would be good if they could market themselves as a safe solution for corporates. Currently, most corporates don't see it as a safe area to share within.""It could be more secure.""The search could be made more intuitive.""We are moving to Microsoft Teams. Instead of Dropbox, we will be using Microsoft Teams that has the advantage of saving the versions. It supports file versioning so that you can always go back to the previous version if you want to. If somebody has made a change in one of the files and you don't know what changes have been made, you can always go back to the previous version. This feature led us to migrate to Microsoft Teams. With Dropbox, there is no option for simultaneous work. This feature is there in Google Files. In Microsoft Teams, you can invite team members to collaborate. That is the reason why I prefer Microsoft Teams over Dropbox. It should also have more integration with other solutions.""The product must provide users with the ability to edit and modify documents.""They can maybe provide a bit more free space. By default, they give you 2 Gigabytes. The storage space could be a bit more.""While generally user-friendly, there is room for improvement in the user interface, especially with the introduction of new integrations and features."

More Dropbox Cons →

"The online application is quite limited, for this and other Office offerings.""An online video player would be great, since sometimes you have to download the video to play it.""The technical support is really very bad.""The user interface sometimes fails and when it cannot connect, it does not give the reason why.""It takes too long for OneDrive to synchronize various applications, especially when you are saving office data. It also requires too much bandwidth.""The area that can be improved is to be able to share easily with folks outside the organization and with folks who don't have an office account. Sometimes, when you send a link, you might have some form of repetition. If you don't know how to share it properly, whoever you are sharing it with will have issues using it. Also, the link that you use to share a document can be made a bit shorter. It doesn't have to be long. Typically, when you want to share a document, it has everything, such as the name of the organization, SharePoint, etc. A short URL will be easier to use, and it will just make life easier, especially because a lot of people are now going mobile. I'm not sure if there's a mobile version of Microsoft OneDrive, similar to Google Drive. If they don't have a mobile app, it would also be nice to have a mobile app because that would help in checking out your documents. It would be easy to check your documents on the go on your phone.""Support has not been the same since the beginning of COVID lockdowns.""OneDrive is a bit behind competing products like Dropbox and Box."
