Find out what your peers are saying about Cisco, Fortinet, HPE Aruba Networking and others in Network Management Applications."Our transaction polling is now way more secure."
"The cloud management gives us the tools and reports that we need to monitor and troubleshoot the network."
"Its configuration and deployment are the most valuable."
"Everything can be seen from the dashboard."
"It allows me to see APs and clients that are having issues, allowing for faster support response and less downtime."
"The Client 360 feature provides a comprehensive view of your clients and their activities, including the devices they use. Additionally, a feature called Network 360 offers a 360-degree view of the network, like data usage (in GB), the status of ports and AP, and other details. You can drill down on granular-level drills to gain insights into specific applications and usage patterns like application level and fee, where your data is being wasted or what your clients are doing with the Internet data, what kind of applications they are using, etc."
"ExtremeCloud offers features that not a lot of other vendors do like their data storage and the ability to swap licenses."
"When we deployed the new IP that is managed wirelessly in the cloud, it fixed the problems. Now, we don't have any more reports, and everything works fine."
"The setup is easy and user friendly."
"Installation is easy with seamless integration of additional APs."
"I have found the most valuable features to be how user-friendly it is and how simple it is to do the configurations."
"The most valuable aspect of Ubiquiti is the ease of setup. It's easy to set up, secure, and use. It works on an adoption basis. I can pull the system up, design a network, and pull 20 different Ubiquiti units into it."
"Having dual-band is important. Having compatibility with very old equipment on certain frequencies, for example on 2.4 and 5.8."
"This access point provides internet to every lab on campus, including the computer laboratory"
"We have not had an issue with Ubiquiti Wireless since we have been using it. The solution is highly reliable."
"I would say that the user experience is pretty good in this solution as well as the roaming solution part of it."
"Integrating the network access control solution can be complex, as it essentially combines two separate products."
"The solution will show us that there are some issues, but when we try to find those issues, we can't see them."
"We'd like to have a cloud dashboard from which we can see all devices."
"A mobile app would be awesome."
"ExtremeCloud IQ’s user interface needs to be improved, and its current bugs need to be fixed."
"The Virtual Appliance crashed once while doing an upgrade. The good thing here is, even if the management system fails, all our networks and features still remain 100% stable and working."
"A room for improvement in ExtremeCloud IQ is roaming. My team is facing roaming issues with the solution, particularly when using VoIP over WiFi. For example, VoIP sometimes breaks when you walk around the customer site. In terms of what I'd like to see in the next release of the solution, right now, the inventory for ExtremeCloud IQ is awful. There's no stock, and you must wait a year and a half for new stocks. It's awful."
"There can be an improvement by incorporating two-factor authentication or multi-factor authentication for security. Advanced network access control features and application control features should be added to manage applications. Many customers are interested in managing data, such as setting data quotas for individual users."
"They have access points that are in the firewalls, and I believe the firewalls could be significantly better. They use the USG firewall, which I believe is a poor device. VPNs for example, it is really bad, it is difficult to configure, and I don't like them at all."
"We have an issue with Ubiquiti Wireless every three to five months for one of the access points."
"They should have more VLAN features and a designing tool like a link planer."
"They should make more advanced features for the power users. I am a technician and I am functional, but I do need some features that I find only in Microsoft."
"Its stability could be better."
"The technical support services need improvement."
"The cost is on the higher side and could be lower."
"The production is not very stable in our experience."
