Comparison Results: According to user feedback, Forcepoint Secure Web Gateway is the preferred option compared to Zscaler Internet Access due to its more comprehensive features such as enterprise DLP, granular policies, and real-time monitoring. While Zscaler Internet Access offers advanced threat protection and has a cloud-native proxy architecture, users have suggested improvements in user-friendliness, performance, and technical support. Some users also find Zscaler Internet Access pricing to be expensive, while opinions on Forcepoint Secure Web Gateway pricing are mixed. Overall, Forcepoint Secure Web Gateway provides a reliable sense of security and protection for organizations.
"The most valuable features are the antivirus as a whole, the anti-malware, and all of the protection features that scan our enterprise devices."
"The solution is stable."
"The protection offered by the product is the most valuable feature. It detects vulnerabilities or traps on our users' phones and then prompts them to clean up their devices. Tools we used previously would only discover, which required us to gather information on the backend, so Lookout is a welcome upgrade."
"On the outside, the main differentiation is because Lookout ingest. They have ingested basically all of the apps for the last ten years and all the versions of all the apps, and we have that in a corporate database that allows us to do very large-scale machine learning and analysis on that data set. That's not something that any of the competitors really have the capability to do because they don't have access to the data set. A lot of the apps you can no longer get them because that version of the app is five or six years old, and it just doesn't exist anywhere anymore, except within our infrastructure. So, the ability to have that very rich dataset and learn from that dataset is a real differentiator."
"It’s pretty stable after you get up and running."
"Giving visibility to people's actions in the network, while keeping attackers out: across data centers, offices, branches, and the cloud."
"Forcepoint Secure Web Gateway does most of its job well, but I especially like its data security feature."
"The solution provided our organization with easy and secure internet access."
"I have found the web content filtering and malware filter the most valuable."
"In terms of performance, Forcepoint stands out because it is more scalable than any other solution. It can extend to different types of boxes and integrate well with other platforms and vendors. And it doesn't need to have the same kind of box or throughput to have high availability."
"It's stable and reliable."
"The product's user management is an area where my company does not face any challenges."
"There is no lag in service when accessing the internet."
"The security is excellent."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is SWG traffic."
"The solution replaces multiple vendor technologies with one which makes it worth the cost."
"Zscaler Internet Access's roaming user feature is most valuable and is much better compared to other secure web gateways."
"SSL inspection is a valuable feature."
"Zscaler Internet Access's best feature is the granular policy controls."
"Zscaler covers all the features needed to replace a VPN or proxy solution. They are good. They've been on the market for 15 years now, so they are mature enough."
"We just submitted an enhancement request reflecting the main area we want to see improvement in; the APIs. Currently, we're able to build dashboards, but it's somewhat backward because we use our MDM API to create them. Lookout should provide API to customers so we can query our data and use it in our cloud, and this is the only outstanding area for improvement with the product right now."
"From the analysis that we've done, they do seem to be maybe a step behind in trying to enter the market with a new solution. But when they do pick up, they do come out with some good products."
"Lookout was moving into the SSE space. And so their work on SecureWeb Gateway and SD-WAN is still sort of evolving."
"The stability depends on the service from where you access it. Because sometimes, the place you are in, you have Gateway. You don't have Gateway. The gateway is overutilized. At the end, you need to go through their gateways. And this is the key point here. You have a tracking point. If it's not well orchestrated, and it scales up as you add more to the existing team, you will suffer"
"The initial setup was complex."
"An area for improvement would be the classification of websites - it can take a long time for new websites to be classified."
"The technical support team's response time could be improved."
"We have had latency issues."
"The initial setup can be complex."
"The solution should be better able to support itself and operate faster. Sometimes the technical support team takes too long to respond."
"Managing the endpoint for both DLP and web security should be simplified."
"I'd like to see the solution improve the banded optimization to offer more bandwidth control, similar to what is on offer with Blue Coat."
"The interface for administration could be better. They should upgrade the management portal."
"An improvement would be if they could provide an out-of-the-box experience, like 20 to 30 features all ready to go. In comparison, LogRhythm offers out-of-the-box features. With Zscaler Internet Access, there is firewall IPS, multiple security services, filtering, DLP, and CASB browser isolation. These are things that all users are going to be using. However, when an administrator or architect would start building this, I would definitely need to engage professional services to help clients do it."
"It needs better integration with other applications. It takes a fair amount of regular activity to apply the by-passes because it is very strict in its restrictions and frequently you have to go in and open things up to allow the workforce to work."
"Cloud App’s database should be improved."
"We'd like for them to include some sort of antivirus tool."
"Zscaler Internet Access could improve by adding a VPN feature."
"The solution is expensive. They recently revised the pricing and packaging. Some of our existing customers have been asking for alternate solutions for a lower price."
"Zscaler should continue to make the user interface better. They should also improve the backup network and continue to expand it so that it can handle larger numbers of customers."
