Find out in this report how the two Software Defined Storage (SDS) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."All of the administrative tasks are easy and everything is centralized."
"The network RAID feature gives us maximum availability, since we cannot afford any downtime, even for a second."
"It allows compute and storage to operate separately, and has the ability to take SAN nodes out of production for maintenance with little effort and zero downtime."
"I guess on the top of the list is certainly ease of use."
"It's very stable and it's easy to use."
"HPE StoreVirtual is very easy to use from the management console."
"The initial setup is straightforward, not a complex procedure."
"A very flexible solution."
"The solution remains stable across versions."
"The management interface of this solution is great."
"I like NCI's dashboard. If there are any infrastructure issues, we'll get alerts inside the dashboard. NCI provides a single platform for managing all of our databases. We are running SQL and Linux databases."
"It has a user-friendly dashboard and interface."
"We really love the Lifecycle manager and one-click upgrades."
"The most valuable feature of Nutanix Acropolis AOS is it has centralized management."
"The ease of deployment is very good."
"Its low maintenance is a key feature. It is easy to install, upgrade, and scale by adding more blocks."
"Configuration of application integrated snapshots for VMware is convoluted and it did not work immediately."
"The initial setup could be simplified to make it easier for new users."

"Hardware and disk failures are happening frequently."
"It would be nice if there were more parts available in Brazil and HPE could swap out faulty equipment quicker."
"it would nice to have deduplication or compression, things that you have in some of the higher end products."
"Setup can be a little difficult"
"Nutanix has a complex infrastructure, we have customers that consider VMware instead. Additionally, the performance could be better."
"The latency needs improvement"
"We would like to see it support other systems outside of the compute stack from which it was built."
"The pricing of the solution is too high. It needs to be adjusted or lowered to be more competitive."
"The file services that they also provide need some more features, like on the Windows file server."
"There are other services that Nutanix has that could be improved, but I'm not very familiar with the other services of Nutanix, such as Era and Flow. However, they seem a bit hard for us to implement and integrate with the Nutanix Acropolis AOS and other Nutanix tools. We would not dare to implement those other Nutanix solutions into Nutanix Acropolis AOS right now. The implementation of that tool could be the problem, I am a bit hesitant to implement the other tools into Nutanix Acropolis AOS."
"In the future, I would like Acropolis to add support for publishing external storage."
