"MySQL is a popular database platform for businesses because it is extremely easy to use."
"The IO segregation in CGE is valuable."
"The relations in the database, the dynamic workflow, and the ability to connect with all columns. It's useful for e-commerce."
"I am totally satisfied with MySQL."
"I use MySQL for employee service in an OLTP database."
"Setup is easy. MySQL of various flavours has community editions to easily test, deploy, and run."
"The most valuable feature of MySQL is the informative error outputs of command line interface."
"When compared with Power BI, Tableau is much easier."
"Easy for beginners to use"
"I really like the interactivity of the dashboards."
"The initial setup is quick and easy and you don't need special outside assistance to set everything up."
"Good data flow and management."
"It's very user-friendly. It's not like Power BI, Tableau is very user-friendly. Anybody can use Tableau. It's very easy to adopt things. I can visualize the stats."
"It is easy to use, and it can handle a large amount of data."
"There are already connectors to almost every single major database and service that you can possibly think of."
"The availability of tools could be improved in the MySQL open-source platform. They can provide more analytical tools. I haven't had any particularly difficult issues to troubleshoot on MySQL, but in the past, on Microsoft SQL Server, I had to troubleshoot some difficult issues, and better tools were in place to see what was going on in real-time on the server. So, that's the bit that is lacking on the MySQL open-source platform."
"Clusters are hard to perform so we use no SQL alternates like MongoDB."
"This solution needs to be improved when it comes to working with desktop applications on the developer side."
"When it comes to supporting big data, there is space to improve upon the database engines that are supported by MySQL."
"It should have some code analytical functions. It can also have a monitoring tool."
"In the next release, I would like to see the scalability features improved to allow you to configure it and reduce the complexity with the configuration, making it easier for the end-user to scale. Make it as simple as it can be."
"We require more ease of use, scalability, and high availability. These are some of the critical features that we use and look for in a product. It should be easier to manage clusters. Scalability is very important for us because our projects and concurrency requirements are quite big. We also require high availability of the server, application, and other things. It should also have more performance-based features or enhancements from the performance point of view. When we divide a database, it should be able to handle the queries very fast."
"The GUI could improve in MySQL."
"The data processing in Tableau is pathetic compared to Qlik."
"It is not so great when it comes to data exchange/integration, data mining, etc."
"When you're working on a dashboard, you can't select multiple components at a time and align them, so you have to go one by one. This is very cumbersome."
"In the next release, I would like to be able to have the option to see more raw data that I'm converting on the dashboard."
"Its price should be improved. Its price is much higher than Power BI and QlikView. Programming is not easy on Tableau. For programming, you have to have a separate model. They should include programming directly on the web portion of the Tableau desktop so that people can write Python or JavaScript code for customizations instead of using a different model. Currently, Tableau Data Prep is a separate application that you have to purchase. It would be helpful if they can include Tableau Data Prep and programming languages such as R, Python in the next version. Tableau Public, which is a community version, doesn't allow you to save your work on your desktop. They should allow it. Currently, you can only upload it in the community."
"Small multiples (a.k.a. Trellis charts) are possible only through very hacky means. Update: Still remains a challenge."
"The data preparation could integrate better with Tableau."
"Requires a lot of user training."
