"You can go huge - so it is definitely a scalable solution."
"The product is mostly stable."
"OutSystems is easy to use."
"The most valuable feature of OutSystems is the drag and drop and toolchains in the small AI developing environment. Additionally, the documentation is helpful."
"The drag-and-drop feature is very valuable."
"One thing I like about OutSystems is that there's no lock-in. You can keep running your applications because it's on .NET and hosted centrally. That's one of the advantages I see there in terms of not having an IT strategy that has a dependency on a particular platform."
"The most important features of this tool are its visual modeling capabilities and drag and drop functionality. You can see what you are coding which makes it easy to understand and maintain. They have also created a big revolution in digital transformation by introducing native mobile app development under the same IDE."
"We can create multiple applications simultaneously with it."
"It has a simple user interface, not so difficult to use. You can add AI models, integration, and third-party connections."
"It is a very, very scalable tool."
"Zoho Creator can be integrated with other platforms easily."
"Zoho Creator is a flexible and powerful solution. I like the tool's advanced modification feature which helps to modify its layout and setup scripts."
"The integration capabilities in Zoho Creator are quite good and support our existing workload. It provides open and proprietary APIs, making interfacing with other applications easier."
"The solution's flexibility and quick turnaround are valuable."
"The product’s MIS feature is very valuable to us."
"Currently, in mobile applications, we don't have push notifications."
"We'd like OutSystems to add stronger workflow-based automation similar to what Appian offers. It needs more workflow modeling and RPA features."
"I have difficulty in using several new features. Some of the product's features are tricky to use as well."
"The integration points need to be increased. People have also started to adopt this solution for their regular needs. That means it's not only the big enterprises that are adopting this solution. There are also small and medium enterprises that are adopting it. I've read that where you have large deployments, OutSystems starts to crumble a bit. That is the idea that no customer would know at the beginning and would also not like to hit the wall there. When it is on the client, there are a lot of applications already on low-code, and then suddenly you realize that you want to do some big applications, and you face hurdles. This is the general feedback for all such platforms."
"It's difficult to do the component version control. I would like them to add more studying materials."
"The initial setup is a little difficult."
"There is room for improvement in technical support."
"OutSystems could improve by being more like GitHub. It would be more helpful for us for division management and version control for our application."
"They should allow for more UI customization."
"I would rate the scalability a seven out of ten. So some room for improvement as well for scalability."
"The UI must be improved."
"Could have more pre-built integrations for pulling data from the wider Zoho ecosystem as well as other systems."
"Zoho provides different channels for support, like chat and email. There's also a multi-brand support self-service support portal, but it's time-consuming to deal with it. If we create a portal on Zoho, we need to pay an additional cost per user. It's a flexible platform, but there are limitations, such as the EBI. We need to purchase additional EBIs and other features that some businesses require. If we are developing complex applications, we need to set up many virtual automation and use API calls."
"Zoho Creator falls short on data management, so we must connect it to other databases to handle larger datasets. However, it may still be sufficient for smaller databases. Better templates and examples for support teams or programming could be improved. Learning the Zoho Creator language, known as "Deluge," can be challenging for native programmers, so having clear examples and training materials would benefit users."
"When you're developing database-type applications, there is no way to see the actual database tables. They call them forms, and I don't like that. Zoho should also provide better user guides."
"They still don't have a PDF conversion feature."
