It's capable of managing large enterprises."

"Visualizations are the best way to understand deviation techniques from the norm.""The most valuable feature of Splunk Enterprise Security is website activity monitoring.""Easy to deploy and simple to use.""The search lookups are useful.""We can present to our management in real time the security of the batch management for the PCs, security regarding the network equipment. We're currently working in the Azure Cloud project, so we can send any logs from the cloud to Splunk. We can monitor them and we can present to the managers and customers. It's a very good solution for reporting. We use Splunk for reporting and monitoring of any solution in the company.""I am satisfied with the support.""It is very simple to tweak or write a small piece of glue code to go ahead and create a new dashboard for a business unit to make near real-time decisions to focus more on other geographies when launching the product.""The most valuable features of the solution are it is straightforward to use and the documentation is good for finding out how to get the data you are looking for."

Cons
"In general, the solution currently isn't user-friendly.""The integration could be easier, it should support more products.""RSA enVision log manager is out of date and is not in use anymore."

More RSA enVision Cons →

"Integrating tools and creating use cases could be easier. It's hard for a junior security engineer with only a couple of years of experience to write use cases. They can do it, but it's much easier in a solution like IBM QRadar. Setting conditions is like a multiple-choice type of thing. It's a more user-friendly process.""We had an instance when Splunk failed and it took us a couple of days to recover.""Its user interface for everything other than the charts can be improved. Some parts of it can be simplified a bit, such as when importing documents that have the network traffic. When you're going through the information about the network traffic, you have to have the expertise, but even if a program is supposed to be for IT support, it is good to make it user-friendly because it gets easier to train people. When something goes wrong, the more difficult a program is in terms of UI, the harder it is to fix the issue.""Splunk is query-based, which is not the case with most cybersecurity tools. It is based on search queries and can be difficult to use. It would be good if they can make it easier to understand how to create search queries. They can improve the knowledge base for better understanding. To create your dashboard, you need to have a search query. We have multiple firewalls in our company, and we need a dashboard for them. It would be helpful if a default firewall dashboard is included in Splunk to make monitoring easier. If a dashboard is available for a security device, the operation part will be more efficient. We won't have to follow a manual process for this.""The Web Application Firewall will send you too much information because it's more dedicated to security than a normal firewall.""On-premises scaling of the solution is a bit more limited than it is on the cloud.""This is not really a monitoring solution.""Splunk could enhance its services by providing more comprehensive professional assistance aimed at optimizing our investment."
