Alluvio Aternity provides valuable data on machine health and performance but could benefit from more customizable reporting options and detailed performance counters.
"All of it, but it depends on who the end user is. The folks that support the applications, like the signatures that we've developed, it gives them feedback on their application performance."
"The ability to quickly utilize the dashboard to gather information is valuable from a DXI perspective."
"The most valuable features for us are the Incident Management dashboard, Application Status dashboard, and Activity Analysis UI."
"Aternity easily provides visibility of all the endpoint machines to my clients."
"The data the solution provides is valuable to us; we can see the health of the machines, how they are performing, and what might be causing issues on a particular machine."
"The data collected by the agents on each end point is the most valuable feature for us."
"The most valuable feature for me is being able to monitor the productivity of every employee in the company as well as third-party, outsourced companies that work on our behalf."
"The infrastructure data, especially the CPU and memory data, is per second, which makes it outstanding as compared to other solutions. Its licensing cost is very low for us."
"Azure Monitor gives us the observability to check everything that we have in the cloud."
"Log analytics and log queries are the most valuable features of Azure Monitor."
"Azure Monitor is very stable."
"It is a move-in powerful feature compared to other market-leading tools."
"It's a Microsoft native tool, so it works well with other Microsoft technologies, which is predominantly what our customer end-user base is."
"The solution's most valuable features are its ability to focus on delivery and maximizing the performance of applications and services."
"The solution works well overall. It's easy to implement and simple to use."
"The most valuable features of Azure Monitor are the login analytics workspace and we can write any kind of custom queries in order to receive the data that is inserted into the login analytics workspace, diagnostic settings, et cetera."
"We are waiting for the GA release of their agent. I hope they can do better when they release their endpoint agents. Right now, we are not able to measure some applications, core applications, because it's relying on a specific version of the agent and that agent has not come out yet and there's no ETA. I would like to see them speed up time to market when they release agents."
"I can see the location and computer model and I can see a bunch of different attributes. But one thing I can't see is the Internet Explorer version."
"Integrating the tool with other products is a challenge."
"The solution is available at a higher price than other solutions."
"The thing that I think most companies like ourselves would want would be an easier way to customize custom scripts."
"The other place for improvement, as an on-prem, non-SaaS customer, is that the system administration and management in Aternity are very difficult. They've even told me that most of their support calls come in due to configuration and system administration on their on-prem. Their on-prem solution is not easy to use."
"Reports were a lot easier in the older versions"
"The licensing model doesn't suit the market we are in and has room for improvement."
"The solution's monitoring feature has limitations for analyzing multiple metrics."
"I need connectivity with cost management."
"I'd like the solution to do more around vulnerability assessment. It's lacking in the product right now."
"The length of latency is terrible and needs to be improved."
"Automation related to gathering metrics from more applications could be improved."
"I would like more transparency when we use the solution with another environment, like on-premises, or on another cloud environment, like AWS or GCP."
"The query builder could be better. In comparison to other monitoring tools, in order to use Azure Monitor, your engineers need to have KQL experience. If they don't, it's not intuitive as a system."
"It's really complex to retrieve or query the logs in Azure Monitor."
