"It is pretty stable."
"The biggest advantage of Check Point Remote Access VPN is that we already use the Check Point firewall. We only needed to enable the feature and do the configuration in order to enable the VPN feature. We didn't need to buy or manage new hardware. This was a big advantage."
"It can improve an organization by providing secure access to resources for traveling employees, which can help to reduce the risk of data breaches or other security incidents."
"The most important feature of Check Point Remote Access VPN is the multiple factor authentication."
"Access is browser-based only and requires no additional client installation."
"Check Point has been perfect for protecting us from any type of attack or data theft during remote management."

"The IPSec VPN, Mobile Access, and Identity Awareness are three of the blades with which we have been working with since the pandemic. This has given us great mobility, making our network more dynamic."
"One limitation is that it's harder to provide access to multiple applications in the company with Appgate, but that's probably because of poor management."
"One thing that kind of sticks out to me is the ability to do a proper non-split tunnel. VPN tunnel-wise, it is not really a true unsplit tunnel, but I think that's just because of the way it's designed. A split VPN basically allows your system to talk to other systems without being forced down the tunnel. A VPN running in a non-split tunnel mode forces all the traffic down the tunnel to wherever you're VPNing to. It forces the traffic down so that the traffic is subject to the firewall and rules that you have in your corporate environment and such. It helps to prevent remote malicious folks that may be talking directly to that box from piggybacking into the corporate environment through it. They do it partially, but it would be nice to see more of an enterprise-level solution there."
"They could provide a single-box solution to manage tools for 4000 users. Additionally, they could add extra features to enhance remote micro connection."
"On the cloud, when you make some changes, it may be difficult."
"It would be better to connect to an application portal from any device. Documentation and support could be better."
"The user interface should be improved as it is not very easy to work with the updates."
"Check Point Remote Access VPN handles up to a hundred megabytes for clients, but I want it to be able to handle up to one gigabyte."
"Check Point Remote Access VPN's current configuration has some limitations and issues. One major drawback is the inability to configure multiple gateways from the same management server for VPN access."
"The maximum it is giving us is only 5 licenses and if you need more, they must be purchased separately."
"Compliance Check on Check Point should be improved by having more configurable conditions to support multi-platforms and adding more granularity."
"The interface itself needs improvement. When you need to create something, you have to go through a lot of steps. It needs to be simplified."
"The main area for improvement is pricing. Another area could be integrating MFA authentication directly into the solution instead of using separate benchmark tools for implementation."
"Sometimes it causes the consumption of machine resources, and also improves the scanning since they consume many resources in the clients' machines."
"We have noted some stability issues."
