Find out in this report how the two Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN) Solutions solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."We had to deal with separate management models for Wi-Fi and switches. With Aruba Orchestrator, it's now a unified solution, making things much easier for us. We log in and manage everything from a single console. It provides complete internal visibility from LAN to Wi-Fi, resulting in higher stability and easier troubleshooting. The management process is much quicker and more streamlined."

"The Business Intent Overlay is a great feature."
"The most important feature is WAN optimization."
"The most valuable feature is optimization."

"Cisco is an industry leader, so customers have a high level of trust with the brand more-so than with some newcomers that might have some more revolutionary solutions, but no name recognition."
"Cisco SD-WAN's collaborative features are unique and sustainable. I also like the protocols, which use two SD-WAN."

"The solution can scale. We haven't had any issues doing so."

"With other routing protocols, we have had to send team members to perform installations and configurations. There is a lot of work involved. However with SD-WAN, once it is installed it is fully automated, and we can do all other tasks remotely. We don't have to send staff out to the client's location. It's very independent, and we can establish SD-WAN connectivity easily. It is secure as well."
"The management menu should be simplified."
"They could provide essential training to understand the product functionality."
"The solution can be improved by lowering the cost and making it more user-friendly for first-time users."

"The initial setup is complex, depending on the overall planning for the entire environment."
"Aruba Orchestrator should implement dynamic certificate changes for security."
"One of the major areas that Cisco can improve on with their SD-WAN offering is their security features. When compared with Fortinet, who have what they call their 'security pillars' (e.g. firewall and security features built-in to their SD-WAN solutions), Cisco generally comes up short. With Cisco, if you need a security component, you have to pay more to get it done. So if they could add more security features that come part and parcel with their existing solutions, then I think Cisco could be very aggressive in the market."
"The technical support is a bit slow."
"This solution could be improved with a simpler implementation process and licensing model."
"Cisco SD-WAN could improve the integration with the cloud."
"The licensing model needs to be improved."
"The product should improve its prices."
"The solution could be a bit cheaper."
"The UI has room for improvement."
