"The documentation capabilities are very good. Very structured documents and process versions are valuable features, and being able to communicate that to our customers is also a very good feature. It has a good balance between the effort and the result. So, you don't need to be too detailed. You can document while you are modeling, which is a very good feature."
"The user logic is very easy to understand, even for people who are not engineers nor developers."
"Your team can work on it having basic training about databases and BPM modeling."
"I like the integration part, and I also like how they use the database, such as the data when they implement all the data side, and how you can easily integrate it with their widgets."
"Very, very stable."
"It can be useful as a tool to improve your communications and the control of your processes. For example, when you have to explain a process to seven or eight stakeholders who think differently as well as have different experiences in different functional departments, it is not easy. Sometimes you are using a lot of technical terms, and other times, you are dealing with management terminology. The visual representation helps you create a better alignment and understanding for different roles and stakeholders of your workforce."
"The most valuable feature is the simulation."
"I like the ease of use and the fact that you can download and use their free version, which is unlimited. However, while it's unlimited use, some features aren't available."
"The scalability is good. We can reuse it as a model. It can be modified."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to draw models quickly."
"The diagramming and swimlane features allow for separating business functions."
"Visio is easy to use."
"The thing I like most about Visio is the stencils. As the product has matured over time, it comes with more stencils and objects that you can just pick out of the menu and go with."
"The most valuable feature of Visio is diagram creation. If you have a presentation, you can create your data model using Visio."
"The most valuable feature is the set of diagramming tools."
"The interface is the most valuable aspect of this solution."
"There could be more documentation."
"In business process mapping, you have pools and dark pools. I don't see that Bizagi differentiates between a regular pool and a dark pool."
"For the small business, this is very bad because it is still fragmented. The licensing policy should be more flexible and small company oriented. In micro-small companies, there should only be one or two. That's not the problem. Maybe it is too flexible, there are so many pieces that you need to put together. When you have a small business, it can be a little complicated, not so easy."
"I don't know if it's a problem with my operating system or a Bizagi problem, but many times I see that when I try to connect different activities, they show up as not connected."
"I would like to see more in terms of analytics and better reporting."
"We have migrated to the cloud, but there are a lot of issues while integrating with the cloud. There are a lot of things to improve with the cloud and reporting. We were previously working with on-premise solutions, and we had access to a lot of things, but with the cloud, they changed a lot of functionalities. Some of the things we know, but with some of the things, we are having difficulties."
"Bizagi needs a way to define categories such as process groups like the APQC framework, PCF, and handle the processes within it."
"Enhancing data generation methods for easier printing and refining the file attachment and user interface to optimize usability."
"The product only functions well professionally, with adding additional software for configuration."
"The solution could improve by having more integration."
"The user interface could be more robust."
"The export and import functionality from Visio to other tools and the import and export functionality from other tools to Visio are areas with shortcomings."
"The user interface could be simplified and easier to use."
"Visio is not as scalable as other tools due to the proprietary restriction. You cannot customize it or scale it up like the way you do with Trello or Jira. Microsoft places restrictions on things that you can do with Visio."
"Lacks stencils for new technologies in the solution."
"Transferring data was one of the issues that I expected Visio to have resolved. I use the older version."

I have been using Bizagi with a major project for a state government agency for about four years now. It is pretty straightforward to load in files that are BPMN 2.0 compliant. The option to load Visio is available in Studio and Modeler. If you have a lot of models, it may make sense to import. However, if you have just a handful, Modeler is very easy to use and it's probably faster and safer just to build them in the native Bizagi environment.
