We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Makes my inbox cleaner and more secure. The infomail is now neatly out of my view and I dont see all the junk I use to see when using AppRiver or just Microsofts native spam filter. I see only the things I need to see, and spoofed messages have decreased 100% throughout the organization."

"It doesn't cause the slowness of the system, which is one of the reasons why I like it.""The solution's main antivirus capabilities are okay. So far, they have kept us safe.""I like the real-time protection features. Windows Defender will detect if there's a threat like a Trojan or something like that but Kaspersky lets it run normally.""It's free. There is no additional cost. It's part of Windows.""This is not an inventory solution, but it helps you take count of how many workstations you have, as well as what software is installed on each of them.""Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is easy to load and it runs quietly in the background, unlike other solutions.""The fact that it's from Microsoft, you don't have many false positives, unlike products from other vendors might have.""The ransomware and malware protection is the most valuable feature."

Cons
"If I had to pick my least favorite thing, I would say some of the tabs to control settings can get a little overwhelming. It can also be a little hard to read the font at certain times so possibly enlarging the details and text of the site a little to make it not so "fit" to the screen."

"Microsoft Defender for Endpoint should have more transparency. In the latest edition of Windows, Windows 11, it is a compulsory requirement to connect to a Microsoft account, which in turn has implications for Defender. This should be removed.""They can improve it on the online protection front since people nowadays are moving online and working from home.""Microsoft should improve support for third-party platforms, because not all functionality is available for all of them. It's a good product, but they should just extend the functionality for all platforms.""Some of the integrations that Defender should include involve the use of the web app.""Its interface can be improved a little bit. We would like to have some sort of centralization. It should have something like a central server that is managing all the other clients. There are solutions from Kaspersky or ESET NOD32 that are really doing this kind of thing currently. We would like to see something similar from Microsoft.""We need better support to learn about the product. Documentation is available, but we need some kind of training program so that we can get a better understanding of the product.""There's scanning going on that occasionally topples the memory, causing everything to freeze. This should be fixed.""In India at least, it seems to be a bit more expensive than other options."
