We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It's been able to do everything we require.""The technical support treats us well. They already have a support portal, and they are responsive, which helps.""It is an incredibly user-friendly and intuitive tool, making the learning curve quite smooth""The most valuable feature of Matillion ETL is the ETL. The solution is open-source which provides advantages, such as good performance and high efficiency. Additionally, it supports three data types which eliminates predefining the data, and we can write script models in Python.""It takes less than five minutes to set up and delivers results. It is much quicker than traditional ETL technologies.""The product's initial setup phase was easy.""We allow non-technical people to use Matillion to load data into our data warehouse for reporting. Thus, it is easy enough to use that we don't always have to get a technical person involved in setting up a data movement (ETL).""The new version with the Productivity Cloud is very simple. It's easy to use, navigate, and understand."

"SnapLogic is a great platform for establishing integrations among various systems or patterns by using any kind of interface. If something is not supported by predefined snaps – snaps are connectors in SnapLogic – you can create them (custom snaps) or write a script.""They are very good at building out new aspects according to customer requirements.""It is a stable solution.""SnapLogic is more user-friendly than Boomi in terms of debugging. You can move the mouse to a place, and it will record and show the data easily.""The API architecture makes it easy for orchestration.""SnapLogic is an IPA tool that leverages a low code environment to connect to multiple sources, extract data, and store it in Azure data lake.""The initial setup is very straightforward.""The solution could improve its API management."

Cons
"When using the SQL loader type there were not a lot of pre-processing features for the data. For example, if there is a table with twenty columns, but we only want to load ten columns. In that case, we can use a security script to select the specific columns needed. However, if we want to perform extensive pre-processing of the data, I faced some challenges with Matillion ETL. I did not encounter many challenges, but my overall experience is limited as I only have three years of experience.""I found some of the more complex aspects of ETL challenging, but I grasped the concepts fairly quickly.""Unlike Snowflake which automatically takes care of upgrading to the latest version and includes additional features, with Matillion ETL we need to do this ourselves.""To complete the pipeline, they might want to include some connectors which would put the data into different platforms. This would be helpful.""There are certain functions that are available in other ETL tools which are still not present in Matillion ETL. It would be good to have more features.""Sometimes, we have issues with the solution's stability and need to restart it for three weeks or more.""One of the features that's in development is data privacy in the cloud, along with further SAP integration. For connectivity to SAP systems.""In the next release, we would like to have connections to more databases."

"Ultra Pipelines provides real-time ingestion but it needs some adjustment.""I would like to see more performance-related dashboards, ones that display the cost of a pipeline, for instance. Also, it would be helpful to have management dashboards for overseeing pipelines and connections.""They should expand in terms of features for SaaS-based market requirements in different sectors.""We'd like there to be more ways for users to get more comfortable and have more experience with the solution to make it easier to use.""SnapLogic should have some inbuilt protocol mechanism in order to speed up.""I am looking for more scheduling options. When it comes to scheduling, there are different tools in the market.""Connecting to data behind enterprise firewalls has been tricky.""It needs some more snaps. I would like to see some of the features be changed in some of the snaps."
