Find out in this report how the two Operating Systems (OS) for Business solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."It has a good support system for loading databases."
"This open source operating system promotes very secure environments with less possibility of being attacked. Support for this system is great because of its quick SLA."
"Ubuntu Linux has the advantage of performance. It runs very quickly."
"Ubuntu is free and stable."
"There is a lot of freedom and flexibility to install it really quickly. It is just very powerful in the sense that it doesn't take up as many resources to run as some of the other operating systems. It is open source, so it is free. There is no licensing fee. There is flexibility and freedom to do whatever you need to do. If you are familiar with the command line, you can jump on the command line and configure almost any part of the operating system that you want. If you are not comfortable with the command line, the graphical user interface has really improved ever since I started using Linux back in high school. It is really very simple to manage your settings and other things. You can also try out multiple desktop environments. As a matter of fact, on one of my laptops, I have installed five different desktop environments, and I can switch between them. If you don't like one, you can easily just install another one with a few commands, and you have got a whole new desktop right there, whereas, in Microsoft Windows or a Mac, you are just stuck with whatever they give you, and you have to wait until they sell you something else."
"Ubuntu Linux is easy to start, and MicroK8s is easy to deploy. Plug into the back-end storage and networking is also easy. It is good to start with 3-4 nodes, but hard to scale. For production grades like 20 or 100 nodes, we go with the RedHat for on-premise."
"The solution is scalable, it is open-source, and can be developed. You are able to install it on many different systems."
"The initial setup is simple."
"It's user-friendly, and you can toggle between all your UI and features, which is good."
"The solution is scalable. If an organization needs to expand it out, they shouldn't run into issues doing so."
"The product is powerful and fast."
"I think the settings are better. It has a better user experience."
"It showcases a diverse range of applications without consuming excessive storage."
"The most valuable features of Windows 10 are the GUI and the compatibility with mostly all the software available on the market."
"It's a product that is easy to use."
"Stability-wise, it's fine."
"The solution is a little complicated to customize and could be made easier."
"There are some drivers that are not there encoded, however, I thought that was pretty normal. They could be more comprehensive."
"A problem we have encountered when installing the package is that certain packages are not available, which requires downloading of them on our part."
"It is an open-source tool, and it doesn't have any support. If there is an issue with the implementation of a feature, such as clustering, I am not sure how to resolve it and get support for it. The stability of the vendor packages also impacts the stability of this solution. When vendor packages are unstable, or any packages are broken, they also impact Ubuntu Linux. It is very hard to resolve an issue related to unstable vendor packages."
"The solution could be better integrated with Microsoft."
"The support can be improved."
"The documentation is very poor."
"They aren't as user-friendly as Microsoft. The solution can use a better UI."
"I want the solution's support to be improved. I want the support to be faster."
"They have a lot of updates, and most of these updates don't have a major feature. We do an update, and we usually don't see any new features from the end-user perspective, which is quite unlike phone updates, where after the update, we usually see something really new. We should be required to update Windows 10 only for major changes. The updates also take a lot of time. When the updates are going on, the PC becomes a bit slow."
"of the problems with Windows 10 is that it hangs when you open multiple programs."
"Although the solution has been pretty nice to use, I have encountered certain bugs in the updates."
"I would like Windows 10 to be more like MacOS in terms of integration, speed, and stability."
"The technical support of Microsoft is sometimes hard to reach, they could improve in this area."
"AI tools like ChatGPT should be integrated into the solution."
"The interface must be made faster."
