I have been tasked to prepare a plan to upgrade our analogue telephone system into a full-IP unified communications system. Since we have a subscription-based licensing deal with Microsoft, Microsoft's Lync server offers a compelling product for this purpose.

1. With WebEx, the presenter can show the audience what is on his screen. Files are shared in real time.
2. Audience interactive participation is encouraged and controlled.
3. It identifies who is speaking.
4. It is secure - supports SSL encryption.
WebEx is the best option for Web Conferencing. The software can be annoying at times, but it's worth the cost.
The actual software product works fairly well. As a general web conferencing product, this does the trick.
The screen sharing, whiteboard, and polls are the features that I use most regularly, and I don't think that I could live without them during presentations.
