We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"On-Time Payroll and its features are user-friendly.""The interface is easy to use.""Financial reconciliation and reporting.""I like Oracle ERP for streamlining the entire process from PRTL and invoice payments. It also has the decision and internet sale order, and my customers can correct the internet decision. It automatically converts to the internet order, and they don't need to create the entry object. They don't need to make a secondary ledger in the parent company and subsidiary. That's very helpful for internet decisions. If they get an order at the parent company, it automatically creates the sales system in the subsidiary.""When correctly configured, this is a very stable solution. We have customers running their process automation manufacturing based off of this solution.""Finance, HRMS, and payroll are all great, and Oracle EBS is fantastic.""The solution has strong financial models and a strong database.""Valuable features include expense management and the accounting suite of products."

Cons
"It is still a little outdated as far as what we consider a twenty-first century software. You're still using Oracle forms, that sort of thing.""Areas for improvement would be that sometimes it's a bit rigid with customization and doesn't always facilitate region-specific requirements.""They don't have built-in bank integrations, which would be very helpful.""They should have a nicer way to handle very high volumes of data because we deal with really high volumes, and sometimes, we end up with performance issues.""The user interface could be better. It's not good because they made their interface all in one, and my customers don't want to use it. I have to customize the interface and personalize it to hide some fields on the screen. It has lots of information on the screen, and the user can't easily navigate it. It's very difficult to use. I think that Oracle should have something like best practices. They need to provide some patches to simplify the interface based on the industry niche. Because now we see everything on the same screen, but the users don't need all that information. It's complicated to use for end-users, and we have to spend more time training them. In the next release, I think they should implement most of the features in the mobile app. It should be better. Oracle didn't update their mobile application for a very long time. Connecting the mobile application is complicated.""The way things are going, Oracle is not putting much effort into their master data management. They need to look into machine data and then the integrated data domain.""The implementation can take quite a bit of time.""The system alerts could be improved."

"I would like to see more flexibility in the customization for us to be able to customize it based on the client's requirements.""Reporting and analytics features must be improved."

    Reviews from Real Users:

Kopano R., Freelancer at a tech services company, says, “What I found most valuable in Oracle E-Business Suite is the patching because it is straightforward. As long as you follow Oracle's best practices, you are able to finish the task of patching without a problem. I like that it's also easy to add products, e.g. if you want to add on financials, you can, or if you don't have financials, you can expand on that. I like that Oracle E-Business Suite is really scalable.”

Mohammed G., Senior Oracle Application Consultant at a comms service provider, writes, “Oracle E-Business Suite consists of a lot of streams, such as financial and HR processes of the enterprise companies. We are using most of the Oracle financial modules, and we have an Oracle stream, FI procurement stream, and HR streams, which have a lot of applications. Oracle E-Business Suite has over 20 different modules to choose from, it is comprehensive. Additionally, the integration is very good. “
