"It is a very helpful solution."
"It helps implement conditional access policies to restrict mobile users from accessing potentially dangerous emails."
"This product offers an alternative solution to other UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) solutions."
"It supports end-users who tend to lock their devices quite frequently. Its conditional access policy helps us keep the users logged into their devices."
"Stable solution at a good price."
"It has a useful device management feature."
"I have experience with technical support. They are quite good. Also, they very quickly understand the issues and what are the requirements from my side. Response time is also good."
"The product provides us with information about the incidents. It helped us block specific devices remotely."
"The remote control we have helps us a lot."
"The Lockdown Kiosk Mode is very useful... When you have 9,000 people remotely using your applications, you want to make sure that they don't play with Facebook while they're supposed to be working... It also prevents installation of software that could be harmful or compromise the security of the phone."
"It has a user-friendly menu that helps manage special purpose devices for security."
"The most valuable feature is the remote support because there are plants here where IT staff is not present. We can use it to provide support remotely."
"The installation is very straightforward."
"The most valuable feature of SOTI MobiControl is the feature to control what software is on the equipment that is authorized."
"The platform makes the mobile device management process straightforward to handle."
"We used to have a system before, Mac OS Open Directory server and this open directory became obsolete because Apple decided to stop the enterprise market, so there was no other alternative for us to use. We chose this to replace the open directory and we found that it has many more features than the previous solution. We totally rely on it right now to manage all the devices on campus."
"It is a stable solution. I would rate the stability a ten out of ten."
"The most valuable feature of VMware Workspace ONE is that it can support most end users' enterprise applications."
"I would rate the stability as eight out of ten."
"If an outside person tries to track or hack information, it is not possible without us being notified."
"It is like any other mobile solution. It gives us the ability to control remotely, and that is what we like. We can wipe out and deploy remotely."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the tracking of the devices."
"I would like to see easier pushdowns. Currently, we have to package our own software and then push it. Intune can make that way easier and integrate applications, such as Zoom and Adobe Acrobat, that are used by a lot of enterprise or corporate organizations."
"The UI also needs improvements because it is complex for end-users. We have had feedback from a few users in our organization who found the UI is not feasible for tracking and analyzing all the processes and monitoring all the devices."
"There is room for improvement, particularly in terms of compatibility, extending beyond the well-known major brands."
"Microsoft Intune fails a lot when it comes to device compliance."
"It would be beneficial to have a more straightforward understanding of Intune's capabilities, presented in a simplified manner."
"There can be more logs. I do not have any other requirements."
"The solution requires Mac support."
"The configuration and pricing can be improved."
"SOTI MobiControl's user interface is very tough to handle and should be made more user-friendly."
"They don't have systems that are built for redundancy. You have one database that manages everything and, if that database crashes, you have a problem."
"The remote screen of the solution gets stuck at times. So, that needs to be improved."
"The documentation could be improved in SOTI MobiControl."
"You need to get used to the admin console. I think it could be improved. It's not the best I've seen. Certainly, the software has a lot of features so you necessarily have some complexity in the interface, but I've seen better. They could make it easier in certain aspects."
"The solution could use better reporting."
"They could organize the software a little bit better, where you access things on the console. It seems like I have to click in three different places in order to get it to go to one area. I should be able to access pretty much any point of the server, whatever I need to touch, from a panel, without having to go click on a menu, then click on the profiles, then click over on Server and go back up to the top and click on the type of device that I have, just to get my applications to show."
"They could make it easier to configure. While setting it up from scratch, I find many networking issues, and I have to call our network people for them, but our network people don't understand. It's a nightmare to try to communicate to them that this port needs to be open, or this needs to be opened here or there. Networking people are very security conscious, and they're wary of doing anything. So, if you can't tell them exactly why they need to do something, they get really paranoid. SOTI could do a better job of making the configuration of their software easier to understand and more clear. The prerequisites should be clear. They should clearly specify what is required to get this software working. There should be a list of prerequisites that is easier to understand and trust."
"The integration on the application side could improve."
"The length of time it takes to deploy an application could improve."
"The bigger vendors like VMware, Insight, and MobileIron can assign engineers to customers. You can work with them to develop the right competency to use the product."
"There should be better compatibility with Linux devices."
"We're unhappy with the quality of support we get for it. We're unhappy with how upgrades occur, so we are migrating away from it. We have an on-premise AirWatch solution and for us to do upgrades we have to call AirWatch to be able to perform the upgrades. They're busy, and scheduling it is not timely enough for us."
"The only downside to the solution is that the dashboard is very confusing."
"The technical support could be improved."
"Lacks a modern enterprise mobility management platform."
