"The solution is scalable."
"A lot of things are valuable. It is free. It has a lot of features, such as report generation and integration with CI/CD, which makes it very competitive with the other paid solutions available in the market. It is a good solution."
"We use Apache JMeter for load testing, where we provide the throughput time."
"API testing, Database Testing, and MQ testing can be done with ease."
"Apache JMeter is stable."
"The most valuable feature of Apache JMeter is its popularity. It is the best open-source tool with all the features needed."
"I like the fact that JMeter integrates well with other tools."
"Micro Focus UFT One is a great tool and can be used in a variety of ways."
"The most valuable feature is that it is fast during test execution, unlike LoadRunner."
"The stop automation is a great feature."
"Object Repository Technology, which is a good mean to identify graphical components of the applications under test."
"The shared repositories can be used throughout all testing which makes jobs easier."
"Micro Focus UFT One gives us integration capabilities with both API and GUI components. I like the user interface. It doesn't require that much skill to use and has automatic settings, which is useful for users who don't know what to select. It also has dark and light themes."
"It's easy to use for beginners and non-technical people."
"With certainty, the best feature of UFT is its compatibility with so many products, tools and technologies. It is a challenge currently to find a single tool on the market besides UFT that will successfully work for so many projects and environments. For example, UFT supports GUI testing of Oracle, PeopleSoft, PowerBuilder, SAP (v7.20), Siebel, Stingray, Terminal Emulator, Putty, and Windows Objects (particularly Dialog Boxes). Furthermore, UFT has the built-in functionality to import Excel input files."
"The UI of the solution needs to be better. The UI takes up a lot of our bandwidth."
"We would like some reporting and analysis tools to be added to this solution."
"The solution's setup could be easier and security could be improved to minimize vulnerabilities."
"JMeter is lagging when it comes to GUI performance testing because we need to install some third-party plugins for recording the GUI script, and the performance isn't very reliable."
"In future releases, it would be helpful if there was an integration with ALM Octane."
"At times when we overload the application, it gets stuck...After the solution gets stuck due to overloading, we have to restart our computers. In short, the solution keeps crashing."
"The UI needs some work. The first time I used JMeter, I couldn't record the full scenario to mimic the user experience. Since then, they have introduced some plugins and a third-party tool called BlazeMeter."
"We're like the solution to be more user-friendly."
"One area for improvement is its occasional slowness."
"UFT has a recording feature. They could make the recording feature window bigger for whatever activities that I am recording. It would improve the user experience if they could create a separate floating panel (or have it automatically show on the side) once the recording starts."
"The artificial intelligence functionality is applicable only on the web, and it should be expanded to cover non-web applications as well."
"The product doesn't provide free training for the basic features."
"It should consume less CPU, and the licensing cost could be lower."
"Jumping to functions is supported from any Action/BPT Component code, but not from inside a function library where the target function exists in another library file. Workaround: Select search entire project for the function."
"Micro Focus UFT One could benefit from creating modules that are more accessible to non-technical users. Without a developer background or at least basic knowledge of VBScript, using Micro Focus UFT One may not be feasible for everyone. This is something that Micro Focus, now owned by OpenText, should consider in order to cater to business professionals as well. While Micro Focus UFT One does have a recording function, it still requires a certain level of IT proficiency to create effective automation, which may be challenging for those outside of the technical field."
"It could work with more browsers other than Internet Explorer, and could better handle new things like Ext JS."
