"The most valuable feature is the authentication process which is very fast."
"Microsoft BitLocker can be used to ensure that stolen PCs or laptops do not lose their data."
"It maintains security on my computer. Since I travel a lot, it gives me confidence that if, for some reason, my computer is lost, my data won't be compromised."
"The most important aspect of this solution is that if your laptop gets stolen, the information is encrypted."
"The solution works the way it's supposed to - stability and scalability are fine."
"The platform provides good performance."
"The most valuable features are the messaging features and shared folders."
"The management console gives us the ability to quickly control who sees what, ensures we are on the latest version, and up-to-date."
"We have been very satisfied with the solution's security capabilities."
"Its management is good, and it is also scalable and mostly stable."
"The solution’s installation was easy."
"Antivirus, URL filtering, and firewall protection are the most effective features for data protection."
"Their cloud features such as Cloud Endpoint security, ransomware modules, malware, and other modules are very effective."
"It is stable."
"The solution’s user interface could be improved."
"I would like to see improvement in the solution's central management of passwords. Currently, we install it separately."
"The deployment process regarding prerequisites and automation could be easy to understand."
"It is not good for cross-compatibility, so our Mac users are not able to use it."
"User profiles can be improved so that people can create their own passwords. It has one password per machine, which is a problem. We would prefer each user to have his or her own boot password. Each user can have a username and password or biometrics, such as fingerprints and iris scanner, integrated into the boot process, but I really can't see that coming anytime soon, if ever."
"For improvement, as it is now, I do not have any support from anyone. There should be a web interface to manage BitLocker. But for now, all I do is just install a new product on the user's machine and create it. I would like to be able to see everything that is happening, even if it is just through a web interface. I would also like to be able to see how many users are provisioned, which users are using BitLocker, and how to disable or enable it. That's what I would like to see."
"The people at the first level of support refer you to articles that do not pertain to the problem at hand."
"The reporting in Microsoft is very minimal."
"Its decryption time needs to be improved. Currently, its decryption time is very long, and it takes double time than encryption. They need to work on that. Its encryption time is fine."
"From an administration point of view, maybe it would be ideal to have it centrally managed."
"The solution does not have endpoint control."
"There are other solutions in the market that have new features. The feature could improve."
"There are some issues with the single sign-on with the active directory. We had a few problems related to the synchronization between the active directory and the login features of the Symantec products because the users made many password changes during the day. The time for synchronization with the solutions can be improved. I would like to see mobile encryption. There should be a possibility to include all the mobiles of a company in the console. Many customers are asking about encryptions for tablets or cell phones, but we don't have any product that we are comfortable with to recommend to our customers."
"Upgrades from one version to another may only sometimes be straightforward, especially if one needs a clearer understanding of the process."
"The solution presently doesn't let network folder encryption be done on Macintosh."
"More features need to be included in the encryption software."
