We performed a comparison between Bizagi and IBM BPM based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Business Process Management (BPM) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The main feature of Bizagi is the speed to which we can automate processes and how we can modify them without a strong impact on the end users."
"BPMN 2.0 compliance, while you model the processes, the system can detect your notation errors."
"Bizagi is really great for beginners because it's user-friendly and you can learn in it quickly, whereas other similar software are harder."
"The documentation capabilities are very good. Very structured documents and process versions are valuable features, and being able to communicate that to our customers is also a very good feature. It has a good balance between the effort and the result. So, you don't need to be too detailed. You can document while you are modeling, which is a very good feature."
"This is a free solution that allows us to create quality visualizations for our company."
"Very user friendly and a professional solution."
"The approval process is simple."
"Very, very stable."
"One of the reasons for adopting this solution ten years ago was its ease of use. It had a lot of off-the-shelf functionality, and it did not need to be developed specifically for the project that we were implementing. That was the main reason for adopting it in the beginning."
"The solution has helped us automate business processes."
"One thing that I love about them is that they make it easier to integrate with other systems, especially with the use of smaller files."
"This solution has streamlined our operation and improved the TAT of sales, operations, and underwriters."
"It helps maintain, and in many instances, lower costs, as well as to maintain those costs, keeping them stable."
"The solution is stable."
"IBM BPM's most valuable features are its speed in implementing and providing any changes."
"The Process Designer is good. We like how we can drag and drop and link the processes up, that works out great for us."
"The tool is expensive and it should improve its pricing."
"For the small business, this is very bad because it is still fragmented. The licensing policy should be more flexible and small company oriented. In micro-small companies, there should only be one or two. That's not the problem. Maybe it is too flexible, there are so many pieces that you need to put together. When you have a small business, it can be a little complicated, not so easy."
"The technical support is not fast enough and should be improved."
"Enhancing data generation methods for easier printing and refining the file attachment and user interface to optimize usability."
"Can be difficult for new users."
"It works slowly on the cloud, sometimes."
"I'm not really satisfied with the reporting aspect."
"The solution's interface could be a bit more user-friendly and I would like to see more integrations with other Office products, not just Office 365."
"Performance on large scale requirements could also be improved."
"Could increase vulnerability and security patches to make it more robust."
"I'm hearing things might be improving, to really deliver on BPM as opposed to simply workflow. That really should be emphasized a lot more than it has been, because a lot of customers will simply implement the process and leave it there, because the product maybe doesn't emphasize BPM as much as it should, as much as maybe they talk about it in the sales process. The whole idea of BPM, is to iteratively improve the process, and in order to do that you have to have the analytics tool with it. A lot of times that doesn't go as far as it should simply because there's a lot more work to be done for that to happen, and just some sort of technical limitations that don't make that as easy as it should be."
"We would appreciate more user-friendly definitions of processes with a more user-friendly interface for documenting processes."
"Some of the features are not enough for my business. We need to build custom user management for the many end users affected by BPM."
"IBM BPM uses JavaScript as a programming language for the server-side. I don’t know why it’s not Java, as it’s more powerful and the JavaScript part is translated into Java anyway."
"They could provide case studies to investigate and understand the functionality of business processes before development."
"The configuration is not that easy, and the initial deployment took three months."
