"It drives us away from Excel. For what it is for, it is good. You can't run a business on Excel."
"Dossiers are going to change the name of the game for us. We want to be able to have the executive committee go into a meeting and tell a story. We want them to tell us a story, not us."
"The subscription model is excellent. About half of our reporting comes out of the subscription, and from there, the ease of use in dragging and dropping reporting objects."
"Reports are very easy to create. It takes a very short amount of time to build a report, which is very useful."
"Workstation and Desktop on the client side will speed up some development activities."
"The hyperintelligence is the most valuable feature."
"BusinessObjects can handle a lot of usage on the front end, and many users can view these reports. It's a relatively stable and secure tool."

That makes it unique and we could not find another solution that functions in a similar way. It's has a great way of receiving and executing queries."

"The product is designed for enterprise. A lightweight version would be easier for a smaller workgroup."
"We did have issues with stability, and that was because we were co-located with another business unit, and we outgrew them on the unit. So we had to get to a separate physical instance."
"They need to improve on distribution services. There are lack of features which were there earlier with Narrowcast, but they are not there in the distribution services."
"There is room for improvement on the graphs."
"Data writeback, and on-the-fly predictive analysis results from R and Python could be improved."
"If you compare it with Power BI with the DAX language, it would be great to put that into MicroStrategy."
"We have seen some stability issues with MicroStrategy on cloud. We have a few unhappy customers."
"I don't think that they will, but I'd like to see parallel processing, scalable parallel processing."
"The solution can improve by having more analytical features."
"Tableau was easier for me to use because the interface is more similar to Excel which I was used to using."
"I really want SAP to focus on the dashboarding side. Based on what I have seen in the past 10 years, dashboarding has captured a lot of markets. Executives at the top-level want data that is summarized, looks good, and tells you a story. That's where Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI have an upper edge. It doesn't mean SAP doesn't give you dashboarding. They do have a dashboarding solution, but Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI are more intuitive and more attractive. I would like SAP to capture the dashboarding market as well, wherein they give at least some competition to other competitors. Presently, Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI are leading the market."
"SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform should be made easier for the end-users and the performance could be improved."
"This product could be improved with Cloud Integrations and Predictive Analytics functions integration."
"More thorough testing of Service Packs before release."
"SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform has to be improved performance-wise. The look and feel of this application, its scalability, setup, and technical support also need improvement."
"There is room for improvement in providing more user-friendly and versatile reporting options."
