Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"A strong point of FortiGate is that the graphical interface is complete and easy to use, especially if we think there is a list of operations that we are able to perform inside.""The most valuable feature is the interface, which is very user friendly. We are utilizing most of the features, like content filtering. The firewall is powerful.""This version is stable. I don't have any issues with this solution, in our environment, it works well.""It's very easy to configure.""The most valuable features of Fortinet FortiGate are the rules and quality of service.""The most valuable features of Fortinet FortiGate are the APIs. They are the most widely known.""Its stability is the most valuable.""FortiGate is on the cheaper end, and it offers good value."

"The databases and its signatures are its most important features.""It safeguards against cyber attacks.""The UTM platform has been the most valuable.""The most valuable feature for us was to implement negligent functionality, to direct functionality to viewer control and application control so we could disconnect, and at the same time, we installed checkpoints. We disconnected our proxy.""We can create a domain to separate and segregate some functions, some services.""The most outstanding feature is being able to centralize each of the functions in a single device.""The solution is very robust.""It provides visibility and drives organizational security."

"The solution is excellent for web and application filtering and remote access with the VPN.""Our customers find it economical and offers good security. These two features are key. Ease of installation and implementation are also key factors.""In some circumstances, the malware functionality is the most important feature, and in other cases, some other features.""The interface is user-friendly.""I like the SSL VPN connection. Cyberoam works well for controlling users and authenticating their connection to the internet.""Bandwidth Management and aggregation. It is valuable for combining two ISPs. Switching to a secondary/redundant ISP is thus seamless, in the event that the primary ISP goes down. The Bandwidth Management is also valuable for limiting heavy downloaders that may impact negatively on the experience of other users.""There are plenty of features that are valuable in the Sophos Cyberoam UTM. We use all the features, such as email Security, firewall rules, web server security, web devices, web protection.""The port forwarding is good."

Cons
"Tunnel flapping was one of the major things I had seen wherein your internet link remains but your VPN tunnel is down. However, since I got a fix from the TAC team, I have not noticed it, but the customer complained a few times that they couldn't access the internet because of this problem.""There are problems with the custom reporting of the unique traffic. The data is there, but it is too difficult for us to extract.""One area for improvement is the performance on bandwidth demands for smaller devices, as well as better web filtering.""One issue that I have had is that sometimes I need to monitor the traffic, so I need to filter it according to the user and which user is using it the most. I experience a bottleneck most of the time, particularly at the peak time when the number of contracts and users are at maximum.""Security is a continuous process. In every product, there is a requirement for improvement. Its pricing should also be improved according to Indian market requirements. They must also improve on the reporting part. Its reporting can be more precise. If we can get a real-time report in a specific format, it will be helpful for customers to know about the current status of their security.""They should improve the interface to make it more user-friendly.""The security of Fortinet FortiGate could improve.""The support system could be improved."

More Fortinet FortiGate Cons →

"What has been the issue of firewalls is they ask me for policies and content filtering application control and all these features that are now part of Harmony.""The solution should be more user-friendly.""Some features that could be improved are advanced threat protection, sandboxing, and vulnerability management.""While the technical support is good, the Indian level technical support could use an upgrade.""As we don't have a representative of Check Point in Mozambique, this makes it very difficult when we have some issues to resolve.""Specifically on the user experience, sometimes the set up of things, such as the VPN SSL, takes a lot of time to load and a lot of time to get up and running on every session.""The interface needs improvement.""The solution could be improved if there was a better way to report. The reporting functionality is not really good. Even though it's not the major function. Maybe adding a way to make a custom report."

More Check Point UTM-1 [EOL] Cons →

"The configuration requires an expert to be set up, so it could be made simpler.""On-box sandstorm should be available. As of now, it is from their cloud.""We use different workarounds and find different solutions for it, depending on the client's needs. We shouldn't have to, we should just be able to use the product as it comes with Cyberoam, rather than having to revert to other products.""Technical support could be faster.""Maybe network traffic analysis for malware and malicious behavior.""We have had some issues with technical support, which is an area that needs improvement.""The solution could be cheaper.""The setup is a bit complex, so we needed help from a consultant."
