We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The solution is scalable.""Microsoft Dynamics CRM has the same features as Salesforce CRM, but what I like about the solution is that it's customizable. It's also one of the top-rated CRMs in the market. I also like that the coverage system of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is very, very broad, which means you can do a lot with it versus what you can do with Salesforce CRM.""Our clients appreciate that the solution can be used to monitor everything their customer interacts with in their business.""The most valuable feature is that it's easy to use and can work with any Microsoft solution without problems.""The initial setup is pretty straightforward.""The most useful feature that this solution provides is the ability to make dashboards for the business easily as our company is managed using KPIs and metrics.""The Outlook calendar has been very helpful for us.""I like that Microsoft Dynamics CRM works, and it's been okay. I like that it is a stable solution. My main reason for using it is that it is stable and meets our requirements from a functionality point of view."

"The camera feature is valuable because it provides a look and feel.""The solution is always stable.""Zoho CRM is easy to use and easy to understand.""The most valuable features include the dashboards, deal tracking, email tracking, notes, managing notes and the ability to manage databases in one place.""Zoho CRM has been a really good product. From a basic CRM perspective, we use it to maintain the details of our company's customers.""The initial setup is pretty fast.""The most valuable feature of Zoho CRM is emailing. You can send emails to customers directly from Zoho CRM. The marketing team in my company uses this feature, and it's effective.""The most valuable solution of Zoho CRM is lead management and analytics. It has a powerful analytics tool."

Cons
"It lacks to provide a more detailed profile of the customer, which would have been better and more useful.""Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be far superior if it had an analytical dashboard and AI-based systems.""Microsoft Dynamics CRM could improve by being more user-friendly and having a better design. I have used Service Desk and it is not user-friendly but this solution is worse. The graphical interface is not intuitive, you need someone to guide you or you will have difficulties navigating around to find the file you need. The data we are normally dealing with is boring enough and the interface could be more attractive and more exciting. The tabs and arrangement could be done better to be more user-friendly. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are fine and Microsoft should extend their user-friendliness and intuitiveness to Microsoft Dynamics.""We had to do some customizations on top and it got a bit cumbersome.""Out of the box, the solution doesn't really have a desirable user experience. We have to set it up and customize it to meet our needs.""Microsoft Dynamics CRM could improve the built-in reports. The ones that are included are pretty generic unless you subscribe to Microsoft BI, which is an extra fee. They should offer the reports without having to purchase a separate subscription for Microsoft BI. However, the reports in Microsoft BI are fantastic.""A built-in automation engine to automate parts of workflows would be beneficial. That's the feature I'd be most happy to see expanded. It's currently tagged as simple automation, but I'd love some predictive capability.""Microsoft Dynamics CRM is operational enough, in terms of frequency, but an area for improvement would be its dashboard. Currently, it's widget-like, so hopefully, it could be improved, particularly to allow you to create a custom dashboard using a query. A custom dashboard would make the solution better and is an additional feature I'd like to see in the next release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM because right now, it only has a default dashboard, but maybe my account has limited access, so I can only see the default version of the dashboard."

More Microsoft Dynamics CRM Cons →

"The chatbot feature is not very intelligent and lacks AI capabilities.""The solution can improve by having a policy that allows us to integrate with the cloud.""I'd like the solution to offer more integrations with other products.""It is hard to modify information around a customer. You need to pay for the features and the tool needs to improve it.""There are at least two big pieces. One is just the ability to reorganize the data and clean it up to eliminate duplicates and things like that. It is very manual at the moment. It only gives us certain fields that we can check on. Because of our particular database, it creates a problem. We deal with hospitals, and there are 50 hospitals. It is tough to figure out which one is which. Is it this one or the other one? So, trying to clean things up is very difficult. I'd like to have more ability to share data fields. The data is structured into different buckets, and I frequently have to create the same field in two different buckets. It would be nice if I could just do a view-only field in another bucket. In my contact bucket, I would like to be able to have just a view-only of the account information so that I don't need to enter it again, which is what I have to do currently.""I have issues with the tool's scalability.""Custom development is often necessary to make such extensive changes, and it does come with associated costs.""I'm not sure that there is scalability potential for enterprises."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "We have to buy a separate license in order to implement the social listening feature."
  • "It's kind of pricey. It's about $50 or $60 per user."
  • "I am not the person who pays for Microsoft Dynamics CRM but it is expensive. I have been using Microsoft Azure, which Microsoft Dynamics CRM is built on, and I know we prepaid for the services. For me as a consumer, I do not think I can afford it, mainly because I am only learning how to use the AI and the rate which they charge is high. In general, Microsoft solutions are expensive and this is most likely due to the brand, this is something you expect. However, the price might be high but you receive a highly secure solution."
  • "There is a license required to use Microsoft Dynamics CRM."
  • "The price of the solution is good but could be cheaper."
  • "We have a three-year ELA with all our Microsoft solutions and often we had to do a true-up which was approximately $1,000,000. Additionally, we pay approximately $2,500 a month for support."
  • "Pricing for this software could be cheaper."
  • "The solution is open source and is free. However, it does require a Dynamics 365 subscription."
