Find out what your peers are saying about Microsoft, JAMF, VMware and others in Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM)."At the moment, Autopilot is the most valuable feature."
"It has helped with compliance. It has helped to ensure that devices comply with the organization's policy. If they are not compliant and secure, they cannot access the resources."
"Its direct integration with all the other products that we have from Microsoft is valuable. We're using the E5 license, and we have a whole wealth of different products available. It just makes it easier to have everything from one provider."
"With on-premises Active Directory, the main challenge was that we had no control when a user was working from home. We didn't know what exactly a user was doing and whether the AV was up to date or not. Intune provides better control of their machines."
"Easy to use."
"The initial setup is not overly complex or difficult."
"The product has eased the deployment of Microsoft apps to the devices. We can manage it properly. We can control it and push the updates. Another company helped us with the deployment. However, we can do it internally."
"The one feature we find most useful is the Mobile Application Manager. There are two types, we have the complete MDM and the Mobile Application Manager(MAM). We don't give our users phones, it is their own personal phone, and we need to allow them to have access to the company detail on their phone. We need to create a balance between their own personal data and the company data. We deploy the Mobile Application Manager for them so that we won't be able to interfere with their own personal data."
"Every version upgrade has been straightforward."
"If a device is stolen, you have the power to remove all of the contents remotely. You can do this very quickly."
"It has a good ease of use, and its intuitive."
"Cylance, their newest antivirus product, is the most valuable feature for us so far."
"The functionality with UEM and BlackBerry Works, the shared calendar, is a massive improvement for us."
"Having access to our internet was extremely beneficial. We don't have that functionality now that we have switched to Microsoft Intune. It was definitely better with Blackberry."
"It does support hardware and operating system configurations from every angle."
"It gives us the ability to have a container and the most secure possible application."
"It is a stable solution."
"We introduced the product as part of the SOC-2 requirement. The tool's most valuable features include keeping the operating system updated, tracking software inventory, controlling computer administrators, and the ability to wipe a computer in case of a security threat. It helps us to be compliant, and it is one of the reasons we implemented it."
"Using this solution has made things more convenient. Earlier, we had to depend a lot more on IT to find and resolve our issues."
"The best feature is the ability to control mobile phones, wipe and containerize the data, and keep employees' work data separate from personal data."
"The most valuable features are mobile device management and security (which allows you to quarantine infected devices)."
"Maas360 uses distribution groups to deploy apps, which makes it a bit easier than, for example, Intune."
"My customers value the ability to control all their devices from a central point in IBM MaaS360."
"The graphic, friendly interface allowed us to start without almost any support from the manufacturer."
"More integration with monitoring tools is needed."
"Intune should be much more granular in terms of supporting more Android cellular devices."
"The initial setup is a little bit complex."
"The documentation about the custom image setup could be better. Although Microsoft provides the steps to configure Intune or set up or deploy Intune, it doesn't have much information related to custom images. If you ask, "how can we deploy the custom image?" There is no information. The steps they mention ask you to connect to your on-premises environment or create your own image on the cloud itself once there is connectivity. But I needed to go to multiple websites to get all this information. I had to figure out how to upload the custom image if you want to use the on-premise custom image for Cloud PC. If you have the proper subscription, you must have the right access, like global admin or owner. Then you can add your custom image to that. There are no steps mentioned over there. Microsoft Intune doesn't have Chrome browser support. I would like to have that support because they will want it if we pitch the product to clients."
"It would be better if they can reduce the cost of the license."
"I would like the ability to install the agent on devices from suppliers, which would enable us to implement a zero-trust strategy for guest devices."
"It would be better if I could integrate it with my core group policy. I would like to have a group policy in my current environment, which has strict control, but those things are still missing. Although it has maximum compliance and security, it's not available on-premise."
"The solution could be improved by the opportunity to connect third-party application databases, such as Chocolatey or another setup store, to Intune."
"The console needs improvement. It does not provide all the information that we are looking for as far as who has installed a certain product."
"I would like more support for Google Chromebook operating system, so I could manage it."
"As far as being able to remotely wipe a device, or remove it from the console, this is not simple to do. It is not a one-click motion, as it requires several steps."
"From the past to the present, before mobility location, we frequently required a restart."
"The initial installation could be simplified."
"I know for the BlackBerry Connect, our users want to see more features, such as audio and video. I know the current version doesn't have that."
"More devices supported like iOS, Android, and API so it can support various platforms to enhance the experience."
"It would be ideal if there was something for communication with Microsoft tools like Teams or Skype for Business, or perhaps even with Zoom for conference calls."
"The price could be lower."
"The interface is clunky and the layout is a bit outdated. Also, I don't think MaaS360 has as many features as Intune. It doesn't integrate with Office as seamlessly as Intune does, which isn't surprising, given that Intune and Office are Microsoft products."
"Zero day support is something they can work on. They can make it a little bit more user-friendly."
"The UI has room for improvement."
"It would be ideal to add support for the distribution of windows.exe applications."
"When we have MaaS360 installed on smartphones, it consumes the battery of the device at a much faster pace. This is one of the areas of improvement that I would like to highlight. We have also observed that in the contact list, a lot of duplication is happening. A single contact is duplicated three or four times, which also consumes more memory resources. If they can work on improving it for these aspects, it will have a more positive impact not only on the way the application is being consumed by the user but also on user satisfaction. A lot of new features are being deployed or rolled out by companies that are competitors of IBM MaaS360. IBM will have to ensure that all those features are on board so that we have a complete suite of features in the platform, rather than deploying multiple diverse solutions to cater to the requirements of our customers."
"Configuring policies is difficult in IBM MaaS360. It also needs to improve usability."
"We had a problem with Microsoft computers. If you downloaded emails on a Microsoft Windows Surface PC, that would also require a license. The Outlook application didn't look great for us on a PC."
