We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The dashboards, the security, and the customization capabilities work very well for us.""The most important thing for me is the autopilot feature.""For Windows services, there are multiple options within Intune to modernize it to be more internet-facing and dynamic.""The biggest benefits of Intune are the ability to push changes and the added security. When we moved forward with Defender, we onboarded all those machines automatically. That helps dramatically. For a while, we were left with machines that weren't protected. We could see where people had done things they shouldn't have done, and Defender saved our skins a few times. It didn't happen a lot, but it happened enough that it made us glad we made that decision.""With on-premises Active Directory, the main challenge was that we had no control when a user was working from home. We didn't know what exactly a user was doing and whether the AV was up to date or not. Intune provides better control of their machines.""Its protection policies are most valuable. It protects mobile devices as well as individual apps. It is pretty scalable, and its documentation is also pretty good. It is also pretty straightforward to deploy.""Intune's unified endpoint management platform is invaluable.""One of the main features of the solution is it allows the management of many devices in different ways."

"We have seen improvements in compliance management on the devices.""The MAM applications of the product are great.""A valuable feature of Citrix Endpoint Management is that it's stable. The stability is not a challenge among the move to the cloud.""The product is capable of acting in many different ways to help secure architecture.""ShareFile, in particular, is valuable with its ease of sharing, and the best category security that is in the hands of users."

More Citrix Endpoint Management Pros →

"It's scalable and stable.""The solution has a very good log-in to the UI when compared to other solutions.""Its price is the most valuable. It is definitely one of the lowest price solutions.""An effective, functional, very good tool for controlling resources.""The groupware module is the most valuable feature.""The solution's voice services work well for our company.""The most valuable feature of IceWarp is the chat rooms and file-sharing, they are useful. It is convenient that everything is in one place. You can easily share and collaborate documents, making the program's unity a significant advantage.""IceWarp has multiple applications that are easy to use for many people."

Cons
"Reporting could be improved. It needs to be more expensive and robust.""An issue we have run into with Microsoft Endpoint Manager is that we cannot patch third-party products like Adobe and Chrome with it.""The configuration could be better by consolidating options and making it simpler.""Enhancements for managing MacOS more comprehensively would be beneficial.""It would be better if they can reduce the cost of the license.""The most important thing is reporting. They should improve their reporting. They should give a free hand to users. In SCCM, I can create my own reports. For example, in SCCM, I can create an inventory report for my PC or for all PCs, but in Intune, we don't have an option to create any report. Microsoft claims that Intune is a successor of SCCM, but SCCM is more powerful than Intune. So, they should develop Intune more and make it equivalent to SCCM. Then, their product will be great in the market.""I wanted to check if there is any provision at the Intune level to restrict certain things, such as a website, but unfortunately, that feature is available only in Microsoft Defender. Intune has web filtering capabilities, but they are only useful for protection from malicious websites, whereas we would like to be able to restrict a website. For example, YouTube is a clean website. No one would identify it as a malicious website, but if we want to stop the end-users from going to that website, we have to go for another product, such as Microsoft Defender or another third-party proxy solution. It would be great if this capability is included in Intune.""Lacking ability to leverage more iOS device management internally."

More Microsoft Intune Cons →

"Support for inventory management of Apple devices should be added.""Citrix needs to improve the architecture. They also need to strengthen the application integration. They keep referring to some things to be required as security, and they keep selling the next level and on-premise separately. They should give the customer the opportunity to decide whether they want to use the next level on-premise or on-cloud, but they should not charge additional fees if the customer wants to deploy the next level on-premise because the customer is already being charged as the end user. They should allow next level on-premise optimization without any additional charges.""Requires integrating with ABM before enabling some of the features.""The tool’s battery usage was high."

More Citrix Endpoint Management Cons →

"I would like to have a trial for mobile applications and more documentation similar to Google Drive with mobile applications.""The exchange compatibility mode is rather limited. Their technical support can also be better. They only provide online support, and there should be some option for escalating.""The tool's configuration capabilities are not straightforward. Apart from that, if I want to archive emails into a vault so that they can be retrieved again later, the integration doesn't work, and IceWarp crashes.""Although the documentation is extensive and in depth, you must familiarize yourself with it before taking full advantage of the product.""The solution should improve the mailing list feature. Google has a similar feature where you can automate sending files to different people in a sequence, but that feature is no longer available in the current version of IceWarp. Other features may also have been removed in the current version.""With multiple databases for VOIP, chat and web IMAP, maintenance is cumbersome.""Although it is not a tool, video conferencing should be scalable and operate in a professional and efficient way.""It is difficult to disable user rights on the console so some users accidentally delete their documents or user details."

    Reviews from Real Users

Microsoft Intune stands out among its competitors for a number of reasons. Two major ones are its ability to secure all devices under its management and the flexibility that the solution offers its users.

A computing services manager notes, "Its security is most valuable. It gives us a way to secure devices, not only those that are steady. We do have a few tablets and other devices, and it is a way for us to secure these devices and manage them. We know they're out there and what's their status. We can manage their life cycle and verify that they're updated properly."

The head of IT engineering at a financial services company writes, "The one feature we find most useful is the Mobile Application Manager. There are two types: we have the complete MDM and the Mobile Application Manager (MAM). We don't give our users phones, it is their own personal phone, and we need to allow them to have access to the company details on their phone. We need to create a balance between their own personal data and the company data. We deploy the Mobile Application Manager for them so that we won't be able to interfere with their own personal data."

XenMobile is a comprehensive solution to manage mobile apps, data and devices, available both on-premises and in the cloud. Users have single-click access to all of their apps from a unified corporate app store and IT can easily configure, secure and support mobile devices. With XenMobile technology, IT can meet their compliance and control needs while giving users the freedom to experience work and life their way.
