Find out in this report how the two Identity Management (IM) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."It scales in terms of numbers and types of identities. It can govern the on-premise applications as well as the cloud applications. So, it can manage hybrid environments with all types of identities and various load amounts."
"The most valuable feature in Omada is the governance. We work with other products and other product vendors, but the sweet spot in the market for Omada is where things are heavy on governance."
"The most valuable feature for us is the ability to set up connectors to various IT systems and offer a wide range of supported connectors."
"The most valuable aspects of Omada Identity for me are the automation capabilities."
"It has a lot of out-of-the-box features. It is flexible, and there are a lot of possibilities to configure and extend it. It is user-friendly. It has an interface that is end-user or business-user friendly."
"As an administrator, we benefit from a lot of functionality that is available out of the box, but it is also configurable to meet our specific needs."
"I appreciate all the support we receive from Omada."
"The benefits of Omada Identity include a holistic way of viewing access, the ability to give people access, and automation."
"We used it to implement multi-factor authentication and to improve our security posture as well as reducing the potential for attacks."
"The most valuable features are that it is easy to manage and it's stable."
"The solution is very scalable. We have a lot of users that have been increasing over the years that we have been using it. We have approximately 20,000 users."
"The solution's most valuable feature is the authentication for the consumers. The integration with other third-party applications is excellent."
"Installation and configuration are pretty easy for ForgeRock OpenIDM."
"The product is easy to set up."
"Even though we have very small business interests with them today, they see that we plan on growing drastically over the next two years. Therefore, we have excellent support and we are now at a point where we are not calling tech support. We pick up a phone and call the Account Manager and they'll get everything resolved for us. We don't have to queue along with everybody else and go through a long process."
"ForgeRock is an extensive product with many functionalities and capabilities, much more than many other tools combined."
"OIM in my organization has improved its use and dependability, allowing us to pass audit each time."
"It's a stable and scalable solution."
"What I found most useful in Oracle Identity Governance, feature-wise, are provisioning, de-provisioning, and termination. Those features are very good. Oracle Identity Governance can also be easily integrated with non-Oracle products, which I find valuable."
"It has a very good response time."
"Scalability-wise, I rate this solution a nine out of ten. Oracle Identity Governance is a scalable solution, without a doubt."
"What I like most about Oracle Identity Governance is that it is a very flexible tool. It allows you to do any customization on Java as it is built on Java and you can write any customization code using Java. I also like that Oracle Identity Governance is pretty much stable. In my company, there are a lot of users, so my company prefers this solution."
"Oracle Identity manager is the best tool in the market for access managers."
"The proactive controls which can be configured to a granular level allowing the organization the flexibility to meet the changing demands of the workforce."
"We are still on Omada on-prem, but I understand that when Omada is in the cloud, you cannot send an attachment via email. We have some emails with attachments for new employees because we have to explain to them how to register and do their multi-factor authentication. All that information is in the attachment. People have to do that before they are in our system. We cannot give them a link to our Intranet and SharePoint because they do not yet have access. They have to register before that, so I need to send the attachments, but this functionality is not there in the cloud."
"The security permission inside Omada needs improvement. It's tricky to set up."
"I would like to see them expand the functionality of the tool to continue to be competitive with the monsters out there. For example, they could add functionality on the authentication side, functionality that Octa and SailPoint have. But they should do that while maintaining the same simplicity that makes Omada a product of choice today."
"Improved traceability would be helpful for administrators. For example, let's say a user's permission is being revoked. We can only see the system that has carried out a particular action but not what triggered it. If an event definition or something has changed in the criteria for the permission being removed or something like that, we don't have immediate access to that information. It takes a little detective work."
"The comprehensiveness of Omada's out-of-the-box connectors for the applications we use could be better. We are getting a new HR system called Cornerstone for which they do not have an out-of-the-box connector, so we have to take the REST connector and play around with it."
"If I had to name one thing, it would be the user interface (UI)."
"The UI design needs improvement. One or two years ago, Omada changed its user interface to simplify, but the simplification has not really kicked in."
"Omada's performance could be better because we had some latency issues. Still, it's difficult to say how much of that is due to Omada versus the resources used by our other vendors in our on-prem environment. Considering the resources we have invested into making it run well, it's slightly slower than we would expect."
"The solution requires more simplified customization. However, part of the problem is my clients determining their own preferences. Technology can help and do many things, but you have to define your own policies to ensure that the solution or service works within those parameters. Helping customers understand their business and different processes is another issue not relating to the functionality of this solution."
"We're worried about the scaling. We're told it will be okay and there won't be issues, however, I'm not 100% convinced."
"Lacks simplified documentation within the tool that requires use of a separate portal."
"In an upcoming release, the solution could improve by limiting the need to do customizations."
"As with any complex software platform, there is a learning curve to using ForgeRock, and it may require specialized expertise to implement and manage effectively."
"The solution's deployment should be made easier."
"The identity management model needs a bit of improvement."
"The only problem with ForgeRock is that it is derived from an open-source product, so sometimes it's a bit unstable."
"The development and the administration side could be a lot more intuitive and easier to use than it currently is, in terms of functionality and what it tries to achieve as a Single Sign-On entity for an enterprise environment."
"Our issues with the solution have to do with the integration with different applications. It's not easy to connect ICAO to this kind of product. It would be better to work on the extensions of the adapters for this kind of identity management solution in order to not put in the code in the product."
"Identity Governance is a difficult tool to work with. You have to input many models to understand what is happening with the logins. The user interface is not so good. And a lot of the features we use aren't available out of the box."
"The user-friendliness of Oracle Identity Governance can be improved compared to other products."
"It responds fast but because of the bugs we have already had some major incidents and complete unavailability."
"OIA needs to improve its governance features."
"The solution should be easy to implement with components combined in one file and built-in features to integrate target applications without having to install additional connectors."
"I would like to see automation in the solution. We need also integration with the Identity Manager. The solution needs to improve in the application integrations part. It also needs to focus on application deployment as well."
