We performed a comparison between Microsoft Azure and QuickBase based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out what your peers are saying about Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Oracle and others in Infrastructure as a Service Clouds (IaaS)."The product has been quite stable."
"The ability to create the actual resource on the private cloud is easy to manage with Microsoft Azure."
"It's a flexible solution."
"The integration with Databricks is the most valuable aspect of the solution."
"The scalability is the most unique feature. Whenever our user count is high, and utilization of our application results in high use of resources, Microsoft Azure automatically scales our application so that users can access it without any issues or errors. Microsoft Azure gives you the flexibility to scale your applications up and down at any moment. It is quite easy and impressive."
"Microsoft has a lot of partners in this area, and they have a lot of information available online, so it's easy to get support."
"It was easy to deploy our applications on it."
"It's a great solution. It's so customizable. Every user can create dashboards to suit their needs. We can create and share them with our teammates easily, too."
"It has helped streamline and simply track status and collection of data from suppliers and other internal departments."
"I am impressed with the product's automation which makes everything easy."
"Considering factors like functionality and price, the product proves to be worth the investment."
"QuickBase is an excellent product and it is very easy to get support."
"I run my own business and the solution allows me to invoice and pay for additional resources. It has helped me in terms of invoicing, quoting, and doing recruitment measures."
"The product is easy to use."
"QuickBase reminds me when a software license or a hardware support contract is near expiration so that I can initiate our company's procurement process in time and not miss a deadline."
"Creating applications in Quickbase will take, literally, a fraction of the time it would take to create them in other database applications (which shall remain unnamed)."
"There should be be better support for microservices and containers."
"It could be more flexible. If you look at all Mircosoft products, they are not up to the mark. For example, Azure Ready doesn't provide the same kind of access a domain administrator has and the kind of flexibility that they have when using Active Directory. Microsoft support could be better. Their service could also be better. For example, specific policies for templates suddenly become unavailable. When I checked, they said that certain things might be withdrawn based on customer feedback. This happened once or twice, and it wasn't available at all for five days, it just went down."
"Azure does not handle scalability as well as its competitors. Sometimes a 10 percent increase in a server with 20 percent of CPU usage pushes the server up to 100 percent load, and you start having performance issues."
"One area where Microsoft Azure could improve is in offering a broader range of pre-built plugins and tools compared to AWS."
"The initial setup can be improved."
"The solution needs to offer more data analysis services."
"Predictability and quality. Make sure things work predictable, as expected, and documented."
"Technical support could be better. They need to be more responsive."
"I would like the product to add more working processes."
"They could enhance the ability to link records between tables directly without the need for additional automation to increase space and time."
"I would like to see the reporting enhanced because some of them are not easy to generate."
"Third-party integration -- they are working on it and I find their brand-new still-in-beta Webhooks very promising."
". For example, we need a third-party to create and save a document in PDF, MS Word, or MS Excel format. The document saving capability is probably the feature that we most often have to procure from an outside provider."
"The dashboard is not organized."
"The product works constantly to modernize the platform and they have made quite a lot of strides in that. I would like them to add additional features that would help us make API calls."
"Unfortunately, there is still no new report formatting available natively, and would still require 3rd party developers to help with that. ."
