"It is easy to implement and has AD integration."
"The tool has improved the starting up of our notebooks and end-user devices."
"The solution works the way it's supposed to - stability and scalability are fine."
"It maintains security on my computer. Since I travel a lot, it gives me confidence that if, for some reason, my computer is lost, my data won't be compromised."
"Being able to encrypt an entire hard disk has been most valuable."
"Integration with System Center Configuration Manager (C: and D: logical drives are encrypted before installing Windows via SCCM)."
"We have not seen any bugs or glitches, so the stability is good."
"It is easy to use and administer."
"We find the dashboard, endpoint mobile encryption, and email encryption valuable."
"I like the solution for its encryption."
"We have been very satisfied with the solution's security capabilities."
"Its management is good, and it is also scalable and mostly stable."
"The most valuable feature is that it works in the background so that the end-users are not aware of what is happening on the laptop."
"It helps us put antivirus solutions in place and prevent malware from getting to our machines."
"I like the management aspect of this solution. You don't want to have end-users tweak or set it themselves, so the fact that you could do it from a central point helped us a lot."
"The management console gives us the ability to quickly control who sees what, ensures we are on the latest version, and up-to-date."
"I would like to be able to encrypt our cloud tenancy."
"The visualization could be better."
"User profiles can be improved so that people can create their own passwords. It has one password per machine, which is a problem. We would prefer each user to have his or her own boot password. Each user can have a username and password or biometrics, such as fingerprints and iris scanner, integrated into the boot process, but I really can't see that coming anytime soon, if ever."
"The deployment process regarding prerequisites and automation could be easy to understand."
"The solution lacks the ability to allow its user to provide limited access to someone."
"Technical support has not been very good."
"The reporting in Microsoft is very minimal."
"At the end of it all, we are looking for something that can be easier to manage."
"I can only patch monthly. I don't know what the solution is there, besides being vulnerable for three weeks out of four. But there's got to be an option somehow."
"From an administration point of view, maybe it would be ideal to have it centrally managed."
"What I didn't find helpful in the version we used is the fact that all devices had to be on the same network for us to push through the encryption."
"The initial setup is a bit complex."
"Its remote deployment should be improved. Currently, there is no remote deployment for Symantec Endpoint Encryption. You have to install it manually. There are some issues with AD integration and the time taken to reflect a password on the Endpoint Encryption Manager when a new user has changed the password, but they are already working on these issues, and these will be resolved in the next release."
"They have too high of a price tag. That's why they're losing the market share."
"The product can be expensive. Price was a factor in moving away from the product."
"The UI could be improved."
