Find out in this report how the two Reporting solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."There is also a chart store where we can download charts, which is extremely useful."
"PowerBi is used to import our production data and generate dashboards, then integrates other Excel sheets to provide managers dashboards. This helps them get insights to make better OEE improvement decisions, mainly where to focus resources. We became able to see indicators from any time frame (day, week, month, or year), then could make better decisions."
"Provides data feeds for enterprise KPI reporting."
"It gives you an edge if you are on the Microsoft platform. If you have been using Microsoft products for a long time or if you have the Microsoft infrastructure, this is the right tool for you. It has seamless integration with Microsoft SQL Server and other sources, and you get the best of the three things (SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS) in one suite."
"It's a very easy-to-use solution."
"Good CS and administration."
"The best thing about this solution is that it is very user friendly. It is interactive in terms of visualizations. It is very eye-catching, and it attracts users. There are a lot of options to visualize the data in different drafts and views. I have used different visualization tools, and I found Power BI to be more efficient in terms of performance, user-friendliness, and ease of use."
"It's user-friendly and provides data abstracting capabilities. We are also able to share reports with our colleagues very easily."
"The scalability is there."
"We can scale it if we need to."
"The solution is fast."
"The initial setup is not very complex."
"On the positive side, QlikView's scripting is a great asset as it functions as an ETL."
"It has user-friendly data visualization features, supporting our decision-making process with its business intelligence capabilities"
"This solution has simplified getting to and understanding our data, no matter where it is housed."
"Associative model - no more cubes."
"The reporting could be a bit better."
"Automation could be improved and performance enhanced."
"Their technical support can be better. They normally take too long to escalate and resolve a case."
"The report server feature is quite limited."
"Defining a relationship was very confusing. There were circular directions for which I had to do a lot of adjustments in the data. They can do something to make it easier."
"The solution could be quicker at rendering data."
"Actionable insights could be better."
"Drill-down in dashboards needs to improved. The capability only works in Power BI Desktop today. We need to have an alternative approach today."
"Sometimes, dealing with complex reports requires more effort, which could be really improved."
"More/newer visualisation components need to be added."
"Although Qliktech's road map clearly states that QlikView has a long way to go, most of the R&D effort seems to be benefiting Qlik Sense."
"The pricing is high."
"Better source data connectors."
"It is really old. We are moving towards converting everything into a Power BI environment. We want to have a self-service type of BI environment where different levels of users in organizations can log onto a portal and retrieve the data they need or get the necessary insights for decision-making that's important for them or their business unit. They have built a new version of QlikView called QlikSense, which probably competes with newer BI tools, such as Power BI, but they are far behind. That's why we are moving towards a newer tool that's easier to use and has more visualizations to represent the data."
"The only thing I would improve about it is the fact that it refreshes all the time, and when it does that, it just deletes all the options you had, all the filters that you had selected, so you need to select them from the beginning."
"The solution should be mobile-responsive. It should also include drag-and-drop and slice-and-dice features."
