"It is very good, and it supports the Microsoft ecosystem, including Excel, etc."
"The most interesting feature of Microsoft Power BI is that it's very user-friendly."
"It is a stable product."
"E-T-L, The Extract, Transform, and Loading capabilities of QlikView make it a highly sophisticated self-service business intelligence tool for developers and analysts."
"QlikView is a scalable solution that multiple users can easily use."
"A well designed app brings freedom of inquiry to meetings, allowing me to answer questions in real time and this has transformed progress and outputs of our monthly group meeting."
"You can do a lot of things on the back end which are not possible in the other solutions on the market."
"The in-memory feature gives us better insight. It's also easy to drill down into the information and select information."
"This is a very cool application with endless options of creativity and visuals."
"Our Qlikview applications help us to get a good idea of our Client Base Performance and assist us in the decision making for Seasonal Specials. On the other hand QlikView helps us to get a grasp on our Suppliers and helps us to negotiate pricing with them."
"The DAX in Microsoft BI is quite difficult."
"Right now, their premium pricing is keeping us out of the premium market. The premium price per user just doesn't make sense for us, but we haven't reached the limit of 500 users to justify the premium."
"The interface could be improved."
"A few features available in Tableau are not available in Power BI. For example. Tableau has the ability to make up the physical layer and all other stuff at runtime. In Power BI, we have to develop a proper physical layer to connect it. The limitation that we normally face is related to the direct query mode. When it comes to the direct query mode, most of the functionality is not working, which is an issue for us. We have to use the direct query mode frequently because the client needs real-time data. They should work on this limitation. There are a lot of other technical things that need to be improved. I am also following the Power BI platform and Microsoft Support Center platform on the web where users have put their requirements. Microsoft is also working on improving this solution. In every update, they add new features to this solution."
"It is not the right tool to do deeper analysis or predictions. When you have some data and you want to do some deep analysis, there is no feature to help you with this."
"I'm not overly technical, and so I can't really speak to any shortcomings from a technical standpoint."
"In the future, Microsoft BI can be better by increasing user-friendliness"
"They asked you to pay if you want to synchronize more than eight times, you would have to go to a Power BI enterprise license, which is much more costly."
"I really wish the application was easier to use in the development phase."
"This solution would be improved with the inclusion of a feature that would allow us to add a common library of (our) commands used in load scripts and expressions, so with a keyword, we would get a drop down to select the command we are looking for, as opposed to the generic help."
"It needs work with visualization."
"Scalability really depends on the size of your data and QlikView server architecture. For the biggest data sets, it could become an issue at some point."
"QlikView certainly lacks in its ability to share visualizations or create visualizations easily."
"Better source data connectors."
"If a user wanted to see something not included in the application the new object had to be created by a power user or developer because Qlik view's scripting has somewhat of a learning curve."
"QlikView's UI could be more user-friendly."
