Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The ability to (somewhat) manage full Windows 10 computers including EXE-based or MSI-based application deployments using Azure Active Directory as Identity.""The security-related tools are excellent; these features allow us to secure devices, lock them down, and ensure compliance.""Its direct integration with all the other products that we have from Microsoft is valuable. We're using the E5 license, and we have a whole wealth of different products available. It just makes it easier to have everything from one provider.""I like the tool's integration with Apple. Anyone who creates an ID in Intune will get an Apple ID.""I like how Microsoft Intune lets me lock down the email profile and make it accessible only on certain devices.""Remote Wipe and Autopilot is one of the best features.""It helps implement conditional access policies to restrict mobile users from accessing potentially dangerous emails.""Intune can wipe devices. For example, if a disgruntled employee wants to leak the data on their company phone, Intune can terminate their access and wipe the entire device with a click."

"The product is capable of acting in many different ways to help secure architecture.""ShareFile, in particular, is valuable with its ease of sharing, and the best category security that is in the hands of users.""A valuable feature of Citrix Endpoint Management is that it's stable. The stability is not a challenge among the move to the cloud.""We have seen improvements in compliance management on the devices.""The MAM applications of the product are great."

More Citrix Endpoint Management Pros →

"The product is used very extensively in my company since we have around 1,500 users using it. Also, there is no requirement for any administrators to manage the product by the people who own the solution.""It has great communication capabilities for team chatting and web conferences.""An effective, functional, very good tool for controlling resources.""The solution has a very good log-in to the UI when compared to other solutions.""It's scalable and stable.""The most valuable feature of IceWarp is the chat rooms and file-sharing, they are useful. It is convenient that everything is in one place. You can easily share and collaborate documents, making the program's unity a significant advantage.""The groupware module is the most valuable feature.""The solution's voice services work well for our company."

Cons
"It just doesn't handle software updates well at all by itself. You need to be a scripting wizard to make those happen properly, or you use third-party tools. The Windows feature updates are very difficult to implement. I would like to see a proprietary built-in remote control tool. I know that they have Team Viewer integrated, but it is not seamless. It would be nice if they had a seamless remote desktop capability directly from the Intune console.""For an existing customer who has an SCCM, it would need to be upgraded to an MECM first before I can introduce Microsoft Intune.""In the next release, I would like a feature to be able to properly lock down the device. For example, if an attacker or somebody steals the phone, you can be sure that the pin cannot be broken.""The reporting and cost have room for improvement.""The scalability could be improved, and like most other MDM products, Intune is good but not 100% there yet.""When somebody has a customized application or their own company's application, we cannot deploy that application.""It would be better if I could integrate it with my core group policy. I would like to have a group policy in my current environment, which has strict control, but those things are still missing. Although it has maximum compliance and security, it's not available on-premise.""I would like the ability to install the agent on devices from suppliers, which would enable us to implement a zero-trust strategy for guest devices."

More Microsoft Intune Cons →

"Requires integrating with ABM before enabling some of the features.""Support for inventory management of Apple devices should be added.""Citrix needs to improve the architecture. They also need to strengthen the application integration. They keep referring to some things to be required as security, and they keep selling the next level and on-premise separately. They should give the customer the opportunity to decide whether they want to use the next level on-premise or on-cloud, but they should not charge additional fees if the customer wants to deploy the next level on-premise because the customer is already being charged as the end user. They should allow next level on-premise optimization without any additional charges.""The tool’s battery usage was high."

More Citrix Endpoint Management Cons →

"Support should be improved. Most of the time, the queries are not resolved within the SLA.""It is difficult to disable user rights on the console so some users accidentally delete their documents or user details.""Although it is not a tool, video conferencing should be scalable and operate in a professional and efficient way.""Although the documentation is extensive and in depth, you must familiarize yourself with it before taking full advantage of the product.""Our customers sometimes have problems receiving mail.""With multiple databases for VOIP, chat and web IMAP, maintenance is cumbersome.""The solution should improve the mailing list feature. Google has a similar feature where you can automate sending files to different people in a sequence, but that feature is no longer available in the current version of IceWarp. Other features may also have been removed in the current version.""I would like to have a trial for mobile applications and more documentation similar to Google Drive with mobile applications."

    Reviews from Real Users

Microsoft Intune stands out among its competitors for a number of reasons. Two major ones are its ability to secure all devices under its management and the flexibility that the solution offers its users.

A computing services manager notes, "Its security is most valuable. It gives us a way to secure devices, not only those that are steady. We do have a few tablets and other devices, and it is a way for us to secure these devices and manage them. We know they're out there and what's their status. We can manage their life cycle and verify that they're updated properly."

The head of IT engineering at a financial services company writes, "The one feature we find most useful is the Mobile Application Manager. There are two types: we have the complete MDM and the Mobile Application Manager (MAM). We don't give our users phones, it is their own personal phone, and we need to allow them to have access to the company details on their phone. We need to create a balance between their own personal data and the company data. We deploy the Mobile Application Manager for them so that we won't be able to interfere with their own personal data."

XenMobile is a comprehensive solution to manage mobile apps, data and devices, available both on-premises and in the cloud. Users have single-click access to all of their apps from a unified corporate app store and IT can easily configure, secure and support mobile devices. With XenMobile technology, IT can meet their compliance and control needs while giving users the freedom to experience work and life their way.

IceWarp helps thousands of organizations streamline all areas of business communication and become more profitable by providing Mail Server complete with GroupWare, Calendaring and Document Management, accessible through an intuitive WebClient, simple to setup in WebAdmin.
