Centralized processing, plenty of business use cases, but not user-friendly
Our main use case for Planisware is for CapEx control for a portfolio Our organization has greatly benefited from utilizing Planisware in regard to investment management. Planisware serves as a platform for all nine countries that we manage to submit their investment requests, which are then…

Helps reduce costs, human errors, and our on-premises footprint
While UiPath offers an RF framework, our organization has developed a custom five-stage framework as our internal standard. To utilize this framework, we implemented specific processes to populate the queue with the necessary values. We then process the data sequentially, debugging and finalizing each operation before moving on to the next. Notably, we ensure all transaction features and exceptions are documented beforehand for comprehensive recording. The UiPath user community is helpful when we are developing any backend operations. Over the past two years, UiPath has helped us reduce costs by automating previously manual tasks. This has increased our clients' willingness to embrace automation for their standard manual processes. In the event of an automation issue, we can easily raise a ticket through another user interface to have it resolved. UiPath has helped reduce our on-premises footprint. UiPath helps speed up digital transformation in the back end. If the developers write the code correctly, UiPath helps reduce human error by 60 percent.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We have a variety of different modules, but it is mainly used for costs, risks, and resources."
"There are two things in particular that I enjoy. The first is the portfolio planning section. Another advantage is that it is highly customizable."
"The solution is performance-oriented and easily customized accordingly to many areas, such as performance KPI."
"The area that could benefit from improvement in this Planisware is the project management tool. I have previously used Project Server, which is a Microsoft solution, and I found it to be more user-friendly as it included a client solution. In contrast, with this solution, the only option available is the online version, making it difficult to create activities, milestones, and other necessary components. This is in comparison to Planisware, which offers a more comprehensive solution."
"Overall, our company has all disintegrated systems, and with Planisware, we are getting a very integrated view of my portfolio reporting, cost and load, and everything else."
"It stands out by automating the intricate mechanics of project execution, eliminating the need for highly technical individuals to manage and reconfigure models."
"I appreciate the ease of creating boards and the flexibility it offers."
"I like how user-friendly, visual, and intuitive it is. It doesn't take a lot of time to figure out how to make it work for you."
"Trello is not as complex as most of the other products are."
"It offers a very solid service alongside its innovative features and capabilities."
"All the features are valuable but the data extraction is extremely helpful for automation."
"Trello's user interface is really good, making it easy for us to maintain and monitor."
"The most valuable features of the solution are that it is easy to use and flexible while offering the ease of use of drag-and-drop functionality for each task."
"The most valuable feature of Trello stems from the fact of how easy it was with it to see large visual aspects, especially when people were getting their workflow in order."

Cons

"The learning curve is steep and there could be more avenues for opening up learning materials to a broader audience, enabling individuals to gain practical experience with the tool."
"The solution's user experience and user interface need improvement because they are not that great and intuitive."
"Its stability should be improved. Its stability is the main issue, but we sometimes also have issues with calculations."
"They do not have anything that can assist customers with multi-year roadmap planning."
"More integration is needed with other kinds of products for better collaboration."
"I would like to see improvement in onboarding back-office team members."
"The product is not easy to use."
"The dashboards and flexibility to adjust the timeline view for each task are areas with shortcomings in the solution that need improvement."
"It would be good if we could update the project status by email without logging into Trello."
"It is not a scalable product."
"The hardware configuration is limited."
"Being able to export reports from Trello, general reports, or board reports, would improve the solution for me as a manager."
"Trello could add an analytic tool that allows me to see the performance of each team member, answering questions like whether they meet the deadline or miss the deadline."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is expensive and support is an extra cost. There are three license types to choose from, and we only pay for support and cloud services depending on our needs."
"There are training and certification costs."
"It comes with a high cost."
"The solution could be less expensive and the cost of scaling is expensive too."
"Paying for the solution's license is worth it only if our enterprise or organization can use Trello, integrated with some other solution, and we can have good reports."
"I do believe that Trello has a licensed version, but I used the free version of the tool with limited capabilities."
"We are currently using the open-source option."
"The solution pricing is okay. The pricing is subscription-based and depends on the features that you need. If you need more features then you will need to pay more. You can use the basic features to lead your project management."
"UiPath is cost-efficient."
"I use the free version of Trello, which is sufficient for my day to day use."
"Its pricing is good. It is about $6 per license for what we use, but then there are other plans as well, such as $12 a month. I would rate it a nine out of ten in terms of pricing."
"Trello was free when we used it, but if we wanted many people looped in, we did need to pay a fee."
