Improved transparency in sales processes but could use more flexibility in customization
In terms of Supply Chain Management support, we're still exploring its capabilities since we're relatively new to using ERP systems As for its impact on manufacturing efficiency, we're still in the development stage, but we expect it to improve our factory operations, especially with features…

Comprehensive solution for SCM but requires add-ons for fluid pages
I would like to see a chatbot in PeopleSoft as part of artificial intelligence. Moreover, there are already a few things in the cloud. In the market, all companies and entities are moving to the cloud, whether it is Oracle cloud or AWS cloud. The cloud is the most secure platform where we can also have Fusion. Few companies have migrated from PeopleSoft to Fusion or Oracle Cloud, or AWS cloud based on their organization's requirements. Some organizations are moving from PeopleSoft to upgrade their tools or application versions, while others are moving from PeopleSoft to HCM Cloud if they are into HCM. The cost of the product depends on the enterprise's size, and some enterprises are moving in quantity due to the current market. Additional areas that need improvement are the add-ons to the fluid pages and additional features in SCM and finance, both functionally and technically.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Infor CloudSuite Industrial is easy to setup. The built-in solution is already there, so we can start implementing it right away when we install it in an organization. After going through different test executions and workshops, any missing features can be added using Infor extension tables and other products. It will take at least eight to nine months to go live."
"Some valuable features include improved transparency in sales processes, which has been vital for our operations."
"It is a scalable solution."
"Infor's environment—ION and Infor OS—is better than SAP's. The load time is shorter and Infor performs much better than SAP."
"The product's most valuable feature is production planning. It is one of the core features."
"It is a complete wave management system to increase processing efficiency."
"Workflow management and collaboration tools enhance operations and facilitate seamless interaction among departments."
"We did some research and chose CloudSuite because it has the flexibility to cover a range of areas. And there were many other factors like traceability, for example, which is crucial for food production."
"Job data is a valuable feature."
"Scales up very well."
"I would rate scalability a nine out of ten."
"A valuable feature is FSCM."
"I'd like PeopleSoft to be like on the cloud and more mobile-friendly. If I try to access it from a cell phone, it's a bit difficult, so it would be great if PeopleSoft could improve these features."
"The solution is easy to scale, expand and make bigger."
"PeopleSoft is a good core system. They frequently update the solution and recently they have added some good enhancement features for higher education. We just switched to the new fluid interface and that is working very well for us. It is very good."
"Very stable in terms of performance and scalability."

Cons

"There should be better clarity and agreement on all interfaces and requirements before signing a contract. This would avoid unexpected costs and complications later on."
"There is room for improvement in the pricing. For us, it's the pricing aspect. Since we're South African, it's difficult when it's a dollar-based product."
"Pricing is always an area where there is room for improvement."
"Planning needs to be improved. That is, industry-specific planning details need to be added and refined."
"Regarding integration, specific third-party tools are not accepted, for example, on the old version of IBM or Oracle."
"They could include marketing automation for the product."
"The platform's distribution features need enhancement."
"Infor needs to work on its documentation. For example, if I need to create a business object deployment from LVN to element, the instructions for this are insufficient. Many specific use cases aren't covered in the manual."
"The API integration could be better."
"The product is not intuitive, and finding the right candidate can be arduous."
"One of the areas that could improve is the capability of utilizing mobile for some of the self-service activities that are missing. They are running on the older platform. What is happening is people are focusing on the cloud. PeopleSoft is a good provider and should into the cloud. That could be an advantage for them. Customers would not have to go find another solution that is a completely different platform that has different functionality altogether."
"PeopleSoft should be more flexible with the configuration. There should be less coding and more configuration."
"An area for improvement would be that it's quite difficult to learn how to use this product, and the documentation provided isn't helpful in giving you practical advice."
"The implementation of PeopleSoft is quite complex and is not as easy as other cloud products such as SuccessFactor or Workday."
"The UI and user experience are not great, and it's not as feature-rich as today's systems. Furthermore, our implementation does not include all the components we need, like payroll or some other functions."
"I'd like PeopleSoft to be like on the cloud and more mobile-friendly. If I try to access it from a cell phone, it's a bit difficult, so it would be great if PeopleSoft could improve these features."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I'm working for a German company, but I'm located in Portugal. In the German market, Infor's price isn't an issue for clients, but Infor is losing market share every year to SAP in Portugal. Portuguese clients find SAP more affordable. Infor needs to work on this."
"It is a cost-effective solution."
"The pricing is not built on a standard model."
"As for pricing, I secured a favorable deal at around $80,000 yearly for five years, but it was a one-time opportunity."
"The product is expensive. I rate the pricing a five out of ten."
"For on-premise installations, the licensing is yearly."
"The platform's pricing depends on the specific number of users."
"I would consider this to be an expensive product, but the quality justifies it."
"This solution offers annual licensing. We pay per user."
"The licensing cost for PeopleSoft is 3,500 per course and the annual subscription fee is 6,500."
"I would rate the pricing an eight out of ten, with ten being expensive."
"PeopleSoft has a yearly maintenance fee."
"Check all options before a decision is made."
"I don't know if they are still providing licenses or if they have suspending licenses."
"The expenses related to the solution are nominal."
