We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable features of the solution are the scanning of all the cloud environments and most of the compliances available in the cloud.""Easily integrates with third-party tools""I like that AWS Security Hub currently has several good features, around four or five. The technical support for AWS Security Hub is also responsive.""I find all of the features to be highly valuable.""The most valuable feature of the solution stems from the fact that it is easy to manage...It is a scalable solution.""Finding out if your infrastructure is secure is a valuable feature.""It's a security posture management tool from AWS. Basically, it identifies misconfigurations, similar to Trusted Advisor but on a larger scale.""The best feature of AWS Security Hub is that you can get compliance or your cloud's current security posture."

"The tool's reports show activities.""The most valuable features of ManageEngine EventLog Analyzer are the number of capabilities, file integration monitoring, web server log collection, and alert configuration.""The user interface is very good.""What I found most useful in ManageEngine EventLog Analyzer is its integration with other ManageEngine applications. It seamlessly integrates throughout the ManageEngine suite, and that's beneficial. I also like that the solution has chain management capabilities, it has a modular approach, and it's easy to reach the support team.""The initial setup is straightforward""The log management has helped to improve my organization.""The reporting features are noteworthy, as they provide templates that streamline the process of generating reports""ManageEngine EventLog Analyzer is easy to gather reports to give to management. My supervisor has access to the solution and he enjoys the graphs."

Cons
"Whenever my team gets some alarms from the central team, my team needs to initiate whether it's a real or false trigger. The central team needs to keep adjusting to the parameters or at least the concerned IPs, whether it's really from the company's pool of IPs, so the trigger process can be improved. In the next release of AWS Security Hub, I'd like a better dashboard that could result in better alert visibility.""The solution lacks self-sufficiency.""The user interface, graphs, and dashboards of the solution could improve in the future. They are not very sophisticated and could use an update.""AWS Security Hub's configuration and integration are areas where it lacks and needs to improve.""Security needs to be measured based on their own criteria. We can't add custom criteria specific to our organization. For example, having an S3 bucket publicly available might be flagged as a critical alert, but it might not be critical in a sandbox environment. So, it gets flagged as critical, which becomes a false positive. So, customization options and creating custom dashboards would be areas for improvement.""One aspect that could be improved in the solution is its adaptability to different markets and geopolitical restrictions. In certain regions like Thailand, specific services from certain countries or providers, such as AWS or Azure, might be limited or blocked. It also needs improvement in would require configuring the solution more adaptable to AWS infrastructure and function.""The telemetry doesn't always go into the control center. When you have multiple instances running in AWS, you need a control tower to take feeds from Security Hub and analyze your results. Sometimes exemptions aren't passed between the control tower and Security Hub. The configuration gets mixed up or you don't get the desired results.""From an improvement perspective, there is a need to add more compliance since, right now, AWS Security Hub only provides four to five compliances to control the tool."

More AWS Security Hub Cons →

"There isn't good security integration when it comes to cybersecurity. The correlation of logs isn't so simple.""The customization of reports could be a lot easier. It is not difficult but it could be made easier.""The scalability is limited.""I would like to see more detailed reports.""The solution is stable. However, there are limits. For example, we can do 2,500 Syslog events per second, but if we want to do more we have to install the distributor structure, and then we can expand how many events we can do. They could improve the stability.""The solution should improve on its log capturing capabilities.""The first tier of customer service and support is not great.""Support could improve to make the solution better."
