Find out what your peers are saying about Microsoft, SailPoint, One Identity and others in Identity Management (IM)."I'm not using Omada, but the interface is easy to use and gives you a solid overview of your identities."
"Omada offers a technical solution that addresses both our needs."
"For me, the best feature of Omada Identity is its web interface because it's really easy for users to understand."
"Surveying is a valuable feature because it allows us to import data and see who has access to what data, for example."
"The administrative features and SoD are valuable."
"Omada's onboarding features reflect our processes for onboarding new employees well. That is the primary reason we use this solution. We use role-based access control. I'm not sure how much it has improved our security posture, but it's made managing identities more convenient."
"Support-wise, working with Omada has been good. We have very good direct interactions and fast responses."
"I appreciate all the support we receive from Omada."
"The basic setup is straightforward and takes minutes to complete."
"Our customers leverage the product as a central component in their identity field management. The process involves connecting it to target systems through connectors. It also helps us in role-based access control implementation."
"I like that it's open-source, and it's working. It has nice features, and it looks like it's easy to maintain."
"We chose this product for being able to accommodate our requirements. It's very flexible, and it's open to being developed to our requirements."
"The best part of One Identity Manager is that it provides wholesome features. Most of the things required for identity management are given out of the box in One Identity Manager. You can just define your use cases, take this tool, and right away implement the solution."
"The solution does help us efficiently manage lots of authorizations automatically."
"It is a flexible because it is customizable. It allows you to build anything on top of it."
"The back-end, its capabilities, and workflows are very good."
"One Identity's biggest benefit is application integration."
"The connection with multiple systems is what makes it flexible. We can create the accounts flexibly, enabling access to other systems. In addition to Active Directory, it can extend to SAP, to Salesforce, to Office 365, etc."
"It has many features which can be combined and configured in a great way, then put together in projects and ways that developers didn't think were possible, which has been great."
"The Omada support response time has room for improvement."
"The account management integration isn't bad, but it isn't plug-and-play like Microsoft Azure. You need some deep development knowledge to set up the connectors."
"It is not possible to customize reports on Omada Identity."
"The reporting and importing have room for improvement."
"In our organization, all the data is event-driven, which means that if an attribute is changed in the source system, it can be updated within a few seconds in all end-user systems. There is room for improvement in Omada regarding that. Omada is still batch-based for some processes, so sometimes it can take an hour or even four hours before the execution is run and the update is sent."
"We are trying to use Omada's standards and to adapt our processes. But we have had some trouble with the bad documentation. This is something that they could improve on. It has not been possible for us to analyze some of the problems so far, based on the documentation. We always need consultants. The documentation should include some implementation hints and some guidelines for implementing the processes."
"The user interface should have a more flexible design, where you can change it to your requirement."
"The UI design needs improvement. One or two years ago, Omada changed its user interface to simplify, but the simplification has not really kicked in."
"One area where I see room for improvement in EVOLVEUM midPoint is enhancing the user interface for configuration. Currently, a significant portion of the configuration involves technical, XML-based settings requiring a higher level of technical expertise."
"The support isn't ideal - because the product is open-source, it relies on your own ability to make it work unless you pay for support at a high hourly rate."
"I think that the product is missing some of the identity governance functions—for example, the legal stuff and GDPR, and so on. But I think they are currently working on it."
"Some features aren't supported by the technical support. It is based on your own risk, which I can accept, but I would be happier if they would provide me some additional information about them anyway, e.g., deleting tables or columns."
"I would like One Identity Manager to offer an easier way for users to learn to use their new features."
"Having new features for web developers in the One Identity Manager shop is an area for improvement. Another area for improvement in the tool is its ServiceNow connection as ServiceNow is a major ITSM system player, but the current out-of-the-box feature proposed by One Identity Manager can only make simple incident requests to the system. My company is now in full ICL design, so it prefers for all concerns or requests to be sent properly to ServiceNow, so my company can have better control over the incident requests and be able to sort those out. The tool fits all my needs today, except for the ServiceNow connector. That's the only additional feature I'd like to see in the next release of One Identity Manager."
"The solution should come up with a lighter version so people can buy different versions."
"Transitioning from legacy technologies, like for a seasoned web designer moving to Angular, can be challenging and requires dedicated learning."
"One Identity Manager needs to come up with many more out-of-the-box connectors, similar to Workday and ServiceNow."
"Right now, they run an on-prem solution. Our preferred solution for cloud is Azure. So, we have yet to determine how we want to take this forward, because at this time, we are only using Graph APIs to do some Azure-related actions."
"There are a few aspects of One Identity Manager's user experience that could be improved."
