Find out in this report how the two BI (Business Intelligence) Tools solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."Ability to create our own reports."
"The solution is easy to use and very flexible."
"The most valuable features of Oracle OBIEE are the ease of logging in, the dashboard, and showing the problems in the data. Additionally, the reports are well integrated and it has good technology."
"I think the most valuable features are the ability to drill down, the graphs, and the scheduling for the reports to be received in Excel on a daily basis. Users like Excel, so it's good for them that they receive the reports by email, that they don't have to specify the schedule."
"It's easy to create fully-functional Dashboards."
"It is easy to create a report quickly. It does not take much time to create an ad hoc report."
"The setup isn't too difficult."
"The most valuable feature is the visualization."
"It has got great flexibility. As a reporting tool, it has a great deal of flexibility for numerous data resources that you can bring into it. It allows you to write your SQL query directly within the product. So, it allows you to do server-side joins instead of pulling all the data into Crystal Report to aggregate that data. It has great visualization. For the most part, it operates quite efficiently."
"Through the use of Business Intelligence reporting and scheduling features, reports are generated and automatically sent according to a schedule. This has freed up countless hours spent performing the same tasks, month over month."
"The most valuable feature we have found to be the SAP BW, which is a warehouse tool. Additionally, it is an easy tool to use."
"Way of creating reports."
"To share a metadata service layer, you don't need to add a user or write a SQL query. Instead, you can present a raw database to your end user."
"The common metadata environment means that the entire organisation has the same definition of core measures rather than these being derived in spreadsheets or specific reports."
"The report development tool called SAP Web Intelligence under the BI Launch Pad portal has been the most valuable feature."
"The web intelligence reporting tool and universe designer are the most valuable aspects of the solution."

"The development effort takes longer than other BI tools currently on the market."
"I would like to see enhancements in tracking, debugging, and flexibility."
"While it is a user-friendly, data-driven tool, the data modeling should be easier to use."
"The platform's data visualization features need improvement."
"I find I prefer Oracle OAC over OBIEE. It's more advanced, has artificial intelligence, and there's more that we can do with it in general. OBIEE is lacking features."
"Oracle OBIEE is a product that is not easy to implement. The product is also not easy to use."
"The platform should be a bit more user-friendly."
"This solution is complex to configure and administer."
"We would like to see a native version of BusinessObjects and Web Intelligence created for the cloud."
"There is room for improvement in providing more user-friendly and versatile reporting options."
"The cost of this product, so every company is not suitable to use it. Because of the very huge amount of integrations, every organization can not use it."
"The solution can improve by having more analytical features."
"The dashboard tool is called Lumira and it is very uncomfortable for developers to use. They should improve this in the future."
"I really want SAP to focus on the dashboarding side. Based on what I have seen in the past 10 years, dashboarding has captured a lot of markets. Executives at the top-level want data that is summarized, looks good, and tells you a story. That's where Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI have an upper edge. It doesn't mean SAP doesn't give you dashboarding. They do have a dashboarding solution, but Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI are more intuitive and more attractive. I would like SAP to capture the dashboarding market as well, wherein they give at least some competition to other competitors. Presently, Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI are leading the market."
