The new Application Design option offers lots of customization options by being able to script in TypeScript (similar to JavaScript). It provides easy predictive capabilities with a large number of options to choose from, including date handling. The what-if analysis sets it apart from other reporting tools like Qlik and Power BI! The features that I have found the most helpful is the WebFOCUS portal and InfoAssist. The portal allows users to display information in multiple containers that when combined, paint the perfect picture of the organization.
