Earlier, we had the solution on-premises, and then we migrated to the cloud. The solution helped with the planning and time management within our organization by providing everything that Outlook offers to end users, including email and calendar. The solution does not provide 100% security, and some emails are still detected as malicious by our other endpoint security solution. Microsoft Exchange Online does not require any maintenance from our side. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

Two engineers are sufficient to deploy and maintain the solution. Microsoft Exchange Online is a cloud-based solution. Microsoft Exchange Online is easy to set up and configure. I would definitely recommend the solution to other users. Overall, I rate Microsoft Exchange Online ten out of ten.

I prefer to use solutions like LibreOffice since they are free and cheaper, but our partners might have problems reading our data, and we would face difficulties cooperating. The main problem with Microsoft products is that we get very dependent on them. Until 2016, I had to make decisions for the budget for the Southwest of Germany, and when you work with Microsoft, your budget is fixed to them, and you lose your ability to work with other solutions. That was a bad situation for us. If you don't plan to use other solutions in the future, it's a good product. Otherwise, you have to be prepared that some problems may arise. Once you get married to Microsoft, it's a fierce divorce if you want to leave. I rate the solution an eight to nine out of ten.

I currently support Microsoft products. I don't sell Microsoft. They also have my test environment, where I test a few things. Everything is available in the documentation. It's a great solution. Everything you need is there. Overall, I'd rate the solution nine out of ten. There's always room to improve still.

I give the solution a seven out of ten. Microsoft Azure has experienced outages at times, but it can be comparable to Amazon Web Services (AWS). I strongly suggest using Microsoft Office Exchange due to its ease of use and maintenance, as well as its increased reliability and added security features.

We have one level two or level three engineer that does the deployment and maintenance of the solution. The online version does not require a lot of people to run it. I recommend this solution to others and they will not regret it. They should not use other solutions. I rate Microsoft Exchange Online a nine out of ten.

I rate the solution a nine out of ten. The solution is good, but the mail-blocking feature can be improved. I advise new users considering implementing the solution to consider using a third-party vendor for the implementation process.

I give the solution nine out of ten. We currently have between six and seven thousand daily users. The solution The solution doesn't require any maintenance. The solution is a cloud platform and everything is taken care of by Microsoft, so there is no maintenance required. It's maintenance-free. I recommend the solution. As soon as you know what your needs are, you can go ahead with Microsoft Exchange Online. You don't need any demonstration of features, and you don't need to do any POCs. I think the solution is pretty reasonable in what it does. In terms of mobile applications, that is Microsoft Outlook for Android and iOS integration, which can make some integration to Microsoft Teams application, which is already prospected in the desktop application. If they can have it in mobile application also, that would be good. But as a solution, I couldn't think of any new features that are required presently.

I chose to use Microsoft Exchange Online because of the disaster recovery, and clustering, and to make sure that our users are eligible for the business continuity process. This solution is good if you have a critical business, you don't want to have any kind of down communication, you are located in multiple regions, your IT team is not large enough to maintain an Exchange on-premise servers or you don't have the large infrastructure to have clusters. I rate Microsoft Exchange Online a nine out of ten.

I’m a customer. I don't have any direct relationship with Microsoft. I’d rate the solution a nine out of ten. It's an excellent product. It's an excellent mail system. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. If you are under 5,000 employees, I would say that Microsoft 365 is the way to go. If you're over 3,000 or 5,000 employees, I would have some serious conversations about on-prem versus cloud. Once you get over about 3,000 or 5,000 employees that are mail users, the cloud really starts to get much more expensive than on-prem.

I rate Exchange Online seven out of 10. There's no alternative to it unless you want to use some Unix system, like Apache. People don't use Apache for wide-stream things like email and stuff like that. The only equivalent is a Linux-based or Unix-based solution, and who wants to do that?

I'm an end-user. I would recommend the solution to others and rate it at a ten out of ten. It's in the Cloud; people don't need to have anything on-site or to worry themselves with problems any longer. Microsoft takes care of the back end while companies can focus on their day-to-day work and be more productive.

Since the project was finished, I'm no longer in an administrative role with Exchange Online. I have passed it on to other colleagues. The administration part is no longer in my hands, for which I'm quite grateful. I don't have to do the daily tasks anymore. My main job is to be the principal cloud architect for the company. I'm, to a lesser extent, concerned with daily administration tasks. I'd recommend potential new users just go ahead and do it. It reduces the on-site administration chores by quite a bit. It's reliable enough to be used without second thoughts for business if you can handle the cost that comes with it, as Exchange or the whole Office 365 is not exactly cheap, especially when you count in the cost for security-related services that come with Office 365 if you pay for them. I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten. It works well, just not perfectly.

If you are looking to deploy on-premise, make sure that you have a small data center, or even a small room for physical security. Otherwise, you should deploy Exchange online.

Make sure you've got a set user base from all areas of the business because everyone in different departments uses the mail functionality differently. Just make sure you have a really good audit process of what your current environment really is doing before you do your migration.
