The solution is very affordable. It's based on the traffic utilization, the average traffic utilization, not the DDoS traffic. Therefore, if you're being DDoSed, you don't pay extra for the absorption of the DDoS traffic. It's purely based on your average traffic.

We have a yearly contract and I am happy with the pricing. Imperva charges us based on bandwidth, which is better than other vendors that charge us according to data transfer. In these cases, our costs are quite high. Outside of our package, there are no additional fees.
The price depends on the client's needs, it will be impacted depending on whether they need diverse production, or account take over for example. There is an initial four package bundle with the price changing monthly.

Incapsula is a SaaS (software-as-a-service) provider. Anyone can do the applications, but you must subscribe to the service. Pricing is a challenge for most of our customers.

The licensing of the solution is quite high. Licenses are quite expensive. I'm not sure if they really offer the value that they ultimately charge. The cost is somewhere around $10,000 a site. For every site, you pay individually. For every DNS entry, you have you pay.

It is an expensive solution. The price is high as the level of service and security provided is high. A lot of customers tell us that they would love to use Imperva more. I have some customers who have 50 websites, but they protect only 10 websites on Imperva because of the price. They would love to have all their websites running through Imperva, but they can't. They have to choose the more critical websites to protect because the price is very high. It is a very good product, but it is expensive. If you buy a plan for 20 megabytes and you don't consume all of your 20 megabytes, it is okay, but if you consume more, you are charged for the superior traffic.

The licensing depends on the client. Usually, it's yearly, but we do offer monthly financing. The only thing I hear complaints about is that in some cases clients want to be able to scale down. They don't want to buy everything. That could be, in Sweden anyway, a big problem, because they need to buy more licenses than they will use. In some cases, some of the resellers would like if it was possible to scale down, to have smaller option. However, they don't have that.
What is a CDN? A CDN (content delivery network or content distribution network) is a network of proxy servers and their data centers that is geographically distributed and that work together to deliver internet content. The goal of a CDN is to deliver content as cheaply, quickly, securely, and reliably as possible. The majority of web traffic today is served through CDNs, which are a paid third-party service.CDNs allow for the rapid transfer of whatever assets are needed for loading...

The setup of Imperva DDoS was easy and we are satisfied with the pricing.
We have an issue with Imperva Incapsula in the Iraqi market because of the high price.
The license is on a yearly basis.

In my opinion, Imperva Incapsula is not expensive compared to the other similar solutions in this category.
The cost is on par with other solutions such as Cloudflare and Akamai. There's not much difference in it.
