While loading the dump data, if you have to import more than ten MB of data, there is no specific application to do it directly. You have to find another mechanism to go with the ERP. If you go for the real-time process, the patch of work and the time to update the product will be too much.

We haven't fully unlocked its potential. Oracle ERP Cloud can benefit us through increased employee resource management. Implementing it requires robust planning tools and strong alignment with our broader business strategy.

You need a lot of knowledge to set up Oracle ERP Cloud.

The solution is ever-evolving. Each quarter, the product and the system have new purchases, dependencies, and improvements. There is a constant need to stay alert about new updates and change whatever is updated according to the requirements. Most of the changes are odd and require no need to access from the user side. It isn’t a disadvantage but a part of the evolution of the product. The additional features depend on the case. There is, however, always room for improvement. Oracle can make the system more stable which includes some changes as some of the use cases were not available in Oracle's systems and the element’s value needed to be defined. This is one of the limitations of Oracle ERP Cloud.

One disadvantage is that we don't have immediate access to evaluate or fix data that is not in the app until we own the database.

I would like to improve the tool’s budgeting and reporting. I know that Oracle is working on the tool’s analytics part so I expect the analytical feature in its future releases.

Oracle ERP Cloud needs to be more mature, especially in terms of some advanced modules, such as manufacturing, supply chain planning, and production. Each module I mentioned has a lot of room for improvement. Another area for improvement in Oracle ERP Cloud is its pricing. The price needs to be more affordable to make the product more popular with customers. Otherwise, Oracle ERP Cloud won't have good sales in Bangladesh.

In some areas, the user interface is still not very presentable for a cloud solution in some areas. There are several additional features we'd like to see in a new release.

The expenses mobile app calculates different mileages than the URL version for the same user and single log-in. We have asked Oracle to look into this issue. Additional features could be added to the invoice scanning tool. Navigation is not simple so configurations are time consuming until you get used to the format.

In terms of areas for improvement, there are still a lot of other features that need to be incorporated into the future releases of Oracle ERP Cloud. We're hoping those would come soon because they're available in other ERP systems. For example, we used to have a lot of AME customizations in the BPM, but now we have a very limited scope, so it would be great if we could extend our scope. Currently, we are working with product teams to get through some of those solutions, and how we could implement them, so we have some workarounds to deal with, but we still have a long road ahead.

We have had concerns about the security and flexibility of the application. The approach with Oracle ERP Cloud should be more holistic rather than user or computer-based. I would like to see a self-service solution around receivables. This exists with payables, but not with receivables. Oracle has a mechanism to vote for new ideas, solutions, and features that should be introduced, however, it is like a black box. Your vote goes in, but nothing ever comes out of it.

I would like to see Oracle improve the automation of data entry. In the next release, I would like more on the treasury side. Currently, there is nothing.

Oracle ERP Cloud could improve the payment transfer. In Libya, the local pay is on the cloud, only there one can see the payroll, so it is very important for us to have a payroll model added.

Financial is an area that could have more in terms of crediting or descriptive that could be brought out because you are dealing with data and the financial details of the company. I would like to see more applications and more insights that could be derived from the system, or delivered by the system, from the data which is fed into the ERP. It would be extremely good to have. They already provide some level of insight. There is technology and incorporation of robotic process automation and artificial intelligence in these products. I know that they are using Java technology, but if they could make the system more open, in terms of technology, then it would be an improvement. I would like for it to be integrated with other external systems and have it work seamlessly. It is a very strong product, but if it could become a product that could be the backend ERP for any other vertical or domain-focused solution and it could provide easily integrable APIs and other related mechanisms by other systems, that would be something good. It would be similar to Oracle ERP being a plugin for other solutions at the backend.

As an ERP solution, the design concept is complicated due to the fact that it will manage almost everything regarding the business operations. It's not designed to simplify something, it's actually designed to regulate or make it more integral. It should be easy to use per se. All ERP systems are quite sophisticated and not easy to master, however, the value of the ERP system needs to provide accurate business information to the leadership. The interface could be improved in future releases.
