We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"This solution is extremely flexible and the automation capabilities are great."

More PeopleFluent Talent Management Pros →

"Job data is a valuable feature.""PeopleSoft has been fairly reliable for us. We haven't had any issues with stability.""All the features of the solution are integral to the functionality. Additionally, the navigation customization is beneficial.""The integration between Human Capital Management (HCM) and PeopleSoft is an important feature.""I like the speed of the processing and how easy it is to use.""The most valuable feature of PeopleSoft is the functionality that allows the ability to find all the data about employees that are needed.""The time system is what we get the most benefit from.""The solution's scalability is good."

More PeopleSoft Pros →

"It is a one-stop solution for everything. You can look for information about other employees or you can track your information. There is a directory, so you can search for other employees. You can also see and track your personal details and salary details on the employee profile page.""Provides flexibility to integrate with the product. It has several tools, out-of-the-box, for integrations. It delivers pre-built interfaces for specific vendors, pre-built generic integrations to extract or push data into Workday through configuration.""There is a lot to like about it. I really enjoy the business process framework. It's something that's really seamless. It allows you to have people within the flow. They get assigned a task to complete something to approve, etc. That's a really good piece of functionality that Workday offers. Their out-of-the-box reporting framework is also really powerful in terms of what it provides. These would be two things that I would highlight.""It is easy to use and straightforward.""Workday is easy to use. Timesheet and resource management are also easy.""The user interface is good and very easy to use.""The solution is stable.""The product is useful for storing employee records."

More Workday Pros →

Cons
"The integration capabilities could be improved."

More PeopleFluent Talent Management Cons →

"PeopleSoft could improve by being more user-friendly. It's somewhat awkward to navigate.""The implementation of PeopleSoft is quite complex and is not as easy as other cloud products such as SuccessFactor or Workday.""There could be more adaptability of the system.""PeopleSoft can improve by having proper connectors. It's very difficult to change some interfaces with the other systems.""In my opinion, it needs more performance, maybe something technical related, because it's very slow for us and even small activities take a while.""I would like for the initial rollout process to be completed faster so that it can be implemented in a more efficient manner.""Initial setup can be complex without training or use of consultants.""It would be helpful for the end-user if the reports were customized. They would be able to select the fields while generating their reports."

More PeopleSoft Cons →

"The solution has some features missing when you put them in the test studio or Confluence Studio. I would like the tool’s coding to be easier to understand and automated. Most of the coding these days is automated. Any query given can pull the answer directly which can make the solution easier to understand.""My opinion is that this solution can improve the overall integrations and add more automation. I think anything that could be on a self-serve basis would work quite well.""Workday would be improved with more API connectors.""The security console should be made less complex.""In terms of reporting, we have to rely on a consultant to do the report customization. The most important thing is to be able to do your own reporting, which it can't do. We rely so much on our consultant to customize reports for us.""They could provide a web chatbot feature in the dashboard for Workday.""One potential feature that could be added is the ability to streamline business processes through quick tips and guided tours. This would allow for a smoother and more guided experience for colleagues as they navigate through different processes and steps. It would be similar to a guidance system or a step-by-step tutorial that could be added after the business process to guide users through it.""We would like to see improvement in the mobile app variant of this solution. The time sheet entry and approval, and the geo-tagging features all need to have their functionality updated, in order to be comparable with other products on the market."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "It's not too expensive, but not too cheap either."
  • More PeopleFluent Talent Management Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "Check all options before a decision is made."
  • "It's approximately $3,000,000 to $4,000,000 USD per year."
  • "The licensing cost for PeopleSoft is 3,500 per course and the annual subscription fee is 6,500."
  • "I don't know if they are still providing licenses or if they have suspending licenses."
  • "There are no additional costs for licensing."
  • "We are a University and the cost and license are negotiated privately."
  • "The main issue we have with the solution is that it is very expensive."
  • "One of the cheapest solutions available and also one of the best."
  • More PeopleSoft Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "With a bigger budget, I would recommend SAP."
  • "Workday is an expensive solution."
  • "You have the license fee per module, and then you have a kind of annual training fee, which is a kind of add-on. I wouldn't say it is exhaustive; it is minor. Licensing is pretty transparent for most of the part."
  • "The pricing is good from an HR perspective, although management gets upset after spending $500,000 a year, every year."
  • "Its price is pretty high. It is more expensive than what is offered by other competitors in the market."
  • "It has an annual subscription rate, but I'm not sure how it will work."
  • "The pricing for this solution is fairly high. It is not affordable for small and mid-sized companies."
  • "By and large, Workday is expensive. It is based on the headcount. I'd probably rate it a three or four out of five in terms of pricing. It'd be like buying a Mercedes or a high-end car. It's expensive, but there's a specific value that you're getting with additional features and things of that nature. Using that metaphor, Workday probably tends to be more of a luxury. There are others like ADP that can do your payroll, your time off, and other things, but they don't do it as well."
