"The system is reliable and the backbone of financial and other core systems in many organizations worldwide.""Its drag-and-drop features make data distribution a breeze.""I like that one system covers everything.""The customer gets a better cost calculation and an integrated system between departments.""Oracle E-Business Suite has over 20 different modules to choose from, it is comprehensive. Additionally, the integration is very good.""There is essentially one solution for every industry within Oracle — you won't require a third-party solution.""Their great technical support is one of the most valuable features.""Technical support is good."

"PeopleSoft is resilient and has the flexibility for us to customize it.""The solution's scalability is good.""I would rate scalability a nine out of ten.""In general, this solution is user friendly and also performs well. There are two types of forms. One is a standardized form, which you can define things into. The other, you can customize so more repetition can be done in an even manner. That way, it can be designed for what the public or user actually wants. It's not very tough for any person, or layman to understand exactly what the screen requires one to do.""It is a customizable product. We can customize it based on our needs, which is one of the features that I like about PeopleSoft. As far as financial accounting is concerned, the user interface is very good. You can also configure Chart of Accounts for all performance insights.""The integration between Human Capital Management (HCM) and PeopleSoft is an important feature.""All the features of the solution are integral to the functionality. Additionally, the navigation customization is beneficial.""It is a very stable ERP solution. It is also supported on Oracle Cloud and provides extensive features."

Cons
"The networking could use improvement."

More Kronos Workforce Central Software [EOL] Cons →

"Earlier when our organization was small they chose Oracle because in the telecommunication industry everybody was using Oracle. Our company has grown to a size where our particularly billing phase has created some challenges and now we are looking at alternate solutions. There is not a billing engine or module that you can buy from Oracle that can be added to this EBS solution to fix our problem. They should add a billing module or engine to the solution.""I would rate the support for Oracle E-Business Suite a four out of five.""The initial setup was a little complex.""Needs more real-time visualizations, in terms of smarter dashboards and reporting competing with the speed of HANA.""Oracle is not keeping up on development of the on-premises version of this product as they are concentrating on cloud solutions.""We would like to see some automation in this solution.""They should include database functionality.""It should be made a little bit more user friendly. When I complete my implementation and hand it over to the clients or the person who will operate it on a day-to-day basis, they find it a little bit difficult because they are not from a highly qualified IT background. I want Oracle to make it a little bit more user friendly."

More Oracle E-Business Suite Cons →

"Initial setup can be complex without training or use of consultants.""The API integration could be better.""I think the inventory part it should be simplified. There is the GR, or good receipt note, which is the time that the materials comes in, and the work days, etc. There is a lot of shuffling through pages, which creates a lot of problems for our users. They don't know which page to go to, where to create a GR, or where to create a stock entry. In other words, all the information is very daunting. It's very easy for people to understand and get a better clarity over it.""Agile system configurations to accommodate business dynamics.""The biggest disadvantage with things like PeopleSoft is that they do continuous support and fixes and upgrades. You get to choose when you want to implement that upgrade. However, in order to keep up, you have to upgrade.""Areas that need improvement are the add-ons to the fluid pages and additional features in SCM and finance, both functionally and technically.""The solution could have better processes and automation, or features that allow for a paperless environment.""It would be nice if it became even more declarative in its development."

    Reviews from Real Users:

Kopano R., Freelancer at a tech services company, says, “What I found most valuable in Oracle E-Business Suite is the patching because it is straightforward. As long as you follow Oracle's best practices, you are able to finish the task of patching without a problem. I like that it's also easy to add products, e.g. if you want to add on financials, you can, or if you don't have financials, you can expand on that. I like that Oracle E-Business Suite is really scalable.”

Mohammed G., Senior Oracle Application Consultant at a comms service provider, writes, “Oracle E-Business Suite consists of a lot of streams, such as financial and HR processes of the enterprise companies. We are using most of the Oracle financial modules, and we have an Oracle stream, FI procurement stream, and HR streams, which have a lot of applications. Oracle E-Business Suite has over 20 different modules to choose from, it is comprehensive. Additionally, the integration is very good. “

We just switched to the new fluid interface and that is working very well for us. It is very good," says another reviewer who is an HR/Pay Systems Administrator/Director at a university.
