"Ramco is user-friendly. The UA is excellent and so easy to use that a customer can easily understand the process with zero knowledge of the system. We can easily walk a new user through the user guide. For each ESS MSS, I can log in to the ESS access. and documentation is available.""In general, the solution is very flexible and can be configured in multiple ways.""Ramco HCM is a stable system that doesn't have downtime or fluctuation issues. It can also take large volumes and scale up very fast.""Once we implemented this solution, it was customizable for our needs and this has been the most valuable aspect of this solution.""The performance management system is really good.""Payroll processing is very easy. SQL rules can be attached to any pay elements.""Ramco HCM stands out due to its reliability and up-to-date compliance with legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.""It is a good product, and it is suitable for different client requirements. It has customization options and flexibility. You can customize a report or configure the workflow based on your requirements. Everything is there in the product, and you can customize it as per your requirement. Our clients found the automation of the payroll, leave attendance, and onboarding modules the most valuable. The Time and Attendance module is fully integrated with this solution and supports multiple data entry modes, such as barcode, biometric device, fingerprints, and face reading. Its core HR module includes features like movement, expense management, exit, and separation. The compensation and benefits module includes features like welfare, retirement, and superannuation. It also has analytical tools. You can create a real-time report based on your requirements. You can also publish that report in different formats, such as Excel, PDF, HTML, etc. It has a chatbot feature, which is using machine learning and natural language. You can ask questions about your leave balance, attendance, or things like that, and you will get an immediate reply from the chatbot. It also supports approval through email."

"It's a fully consolidated system. All the transactions and configuration are co-located in one fully in-memory system, so there is no need to go to different data sources (multiple DBs) to pull data; it’s all in one place.""It is easy to use and straightforward.""It's easy to set up.""In the process of obtaining representative sites in NaviNet, it assists us in facilitating decision-making and taking action.""Performance and good usability are the two most valuable features of this solution.""We like the fact that this solution is very user-friendly, with a straightforward user interface.""The user interface is good and very easy to use.""The platform itself is very robust and I generally like the reporting and analytics capability."

Cons
"PeopleSoft can improve by having proper connectors. It's very difficult to change some interfaces with the other systems.""One aspect where PeopleSoft could see improvement is in its level of customization.""Having applications which provide more enhanced features and user-friendly elements.""PeopleSoft lacks integration capabilities.""The UI and user experience are not great, and it's not as feature-rich as today's systems. Furthermore, our implementation does not include all the components we need, like payroll or some other functions.""The product was too complicated when it came to navigating through multiple places and the search filters weren't great.""Response time takes very long and requires a person to be awake night and day to benefit from it.""Scalability is not there in PeopleSoft. Its performance and resilience are also very bad. When you're trying to stretch it, it breaks. It is not resilient. It is also not stable. It is stable as far as data is concerned, but the infrastructure is not stable."

More PeopleSoft Cons →

"They can improve the configuration time because it takes more time than other products to configure the system. It could be because they are managing this single product for all countries, but it would be good if they improve the implementation time because we need to implement the solutions within a timeline. They should provide some kind of auto-configuration so that the system can be configured and implemented within a certain timeline. Implementors should have a provision to configure the system in a short time. There should also be an option to move the setup or configuration from staging to production to save time. These types of automation should be there.""The product itself sometimes feels inconsistent because it comes with bugs.""The mobile app and web page user experience could be more user friendly.""One area for improvement in Ramco HCM is its UI, which could be more intuitive. Another area for improvement in the system is that it can be challenging to make some modular-based changes to it.""The talent management and performance appraisal modules could use some improvement.""Ramco could be a bit faster and offer more use cases. A prime aim is to get analytics and this is lacking in Ramco. This lack of reporting is one of the reasons we are moving away from using Ramco.""The mobile app for this solution could be improved as it lacks many features.""The entire UI/UX of the solution can be improved drastically."

More Ramco HCM Cons →

"One potential feature that could be added is the ability to streamline business processes through quick tips and guided tours. This would allow for a smoother and more guided experience for colleagues as they navigate through different processes and steps. It would be similar to a guidance system or a step-by-step tutorial that could be added after the business process to guide users through it.""I'm not sure they have added this feature yet, but there should be a cellphone version, so we do not need to do it on a laptop. I'd like to log in on a cellphone and have the same features. I'm not sure if that is already available or if it's on the roadmap, but that would be a great feature.""There is a lot of complexity in the configuration of this solution.""Reporting systems should be improved. If you want to report it on paper, if you want something more BI oriented, more high level predictive or more data-driven, it should be improved.""The expenses and reimbursements module could be improved. Creating expense reports is time consuming and inefficient compared to other expense solutions.""In terms of reporting, we have to rely on a consultant to do the report customization. The most important thing is to be able to do your own reporting, which it can't do. We rely so much on our consultant to customize reports for us.""Workday does have a community site where people can go on and off for suggestions. They call them Brainstorms, and you can vote them up. That is something that they do well, but oftentimes, they seem to be racing to deliver something based on what a competitor is delivering. For example, if they hear SAP has this new functionality and learning that's going to be coming out, they prioritize there, which makes sense, but unfortunately, some of these Brainstorms may get neglected where the product might not be improved as quickly or as needed for the customers. You might be waiting for a year or two to get a feature that you'd like released. They should pay more attention to customer feedback and ensure that customer feedback is an essential part of their product roadmap.""The solution has some features missing when you put them in the test studio or Confluence Studio. I would like the tool’s coding to be easier to understand and automated. Most of the coding these days is automated. Any query given can pull the answer directly which can make the solution easier to understand."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Check all options before a decision is made."
  • "It's approximately $3,000,000 to $4,000,000 USD per year."
  • "The licensing cost for PeopleSoft is 3,500 per course and the annual subscription fee is 6,500."
  • "I don't know if they are still providing licenses or if they have suspending licenses."
  • "There are no additional costs for licensing."
  • "We are a University and the cost and license are negotiated privately."
  • "The main issue we have with the solution is that it is very expensive."
  • "One of the cheapest solutions available and also one of the best."
  • More PeopleSoft Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "Their customized solution is pretty expensive but much cheaper than its competitors."
  • "I am not aware of the price because I was working in the implementation team, but pricing is generally based on the requirement, modules, headcount, and country."
  • "This solution is priced in the middle compared to other solutions on the market."
  • More Ramco HCM Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "With a bigger budget, I would recommend SAP."
  • "Workday is an expensive solution."
  • "You have the license fee per module, and then you have a kind of annual training fee, which is a kind of add-on. I wouldn't say it is exhaustive; it is minor. Licensing is pretty transparent for most of the part."
  • "The pricing is good from an HR perspective, although management gets upset after spending $500,000 a year, every year."
  • "Its price is pretty high. It is more expensive than what is offered by other competitors in the market."
  • "It has an annual subscription rate, but I'm not sure how it will work."
  • "The pricing for this solution is fairly high. It is not affordable for small and mid-sized companies."
  • "By and large, Workday is expensive. It is based on the headcount. I'd probably rate it a three or four out of five in terms of pricing. It'd be like buying a Mercedes or a high-end car. It's expensive, but there's a specific value that you're getting with additional features and things of that nature. Using that metaphor, Workday probably tends to be more of a luxury. There are others like ADP that can do your payroll, your time off, and other things, but they don't do it as well."
