We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It ensures that there's continuity, and you don't have to start asking the customer about what happened. From CRM, you can easily see all the interactions and events in the record and take it from there.""Dynamics is easy to use. There are several fields I can filter.""I have used many Microsoft solutions and I am comfortable using the solution. Additionally, it is secure.""Our clients appreciate that the solution can be used to monitor everything their customer interacts with in their business.""I like that Microsoft Dynamics CRM works, and it's been okay. I like that it is a stable solution. My main reason for using it is that it is stable and meets our requirements from a functionality point of view.""The solution is stable.""Integration is the best feature of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. It integrates quickly across multiple apps and has a lot of APIs available that you can link to. It's very customizable, so we're able to tailor it to a client's needs.""The solution is scalable."

"The strength lies in its ability to work cohesively with other systems, creating a centralized hub that enhances efficiency and collaboration across various functionalities within our organization.""The interface is quite user-friendly.""Salesforce Service Cloud offers several notable features. It includes robust case routing, escalation capabilities, entitlement mapping, and entanglement rules. Additionally, it supports Computer Telephone Integration (CTI), which allows for automatic case generation when a call is made to a designated number.""The plug-ins that work with other standard systems have made the product industry-ready.""It is a stable product.""The three major pillars of Salesforce Service Cloud are the SSL, Chatter, and the Dispatcher Console, which routes calls to the technicians.""The product's initial setup phase was straightforward.""The most valuable feature of Salesforce Service Cloud is its ease of use."

"Change management is the most critical feature.""The most valuable feature of this solution is the incident management module.""This solution has provided me with a well-defined process and interaction, compared to my previous tool, GLPI.""The most valuable feature of TOPdesk is the reports.""When it comes to implementing new features, they listen to what their customers want via a suggestion forum that they have.""It is an easy-to-use solution.""The most valuable feature of TOPdesk is its ease of use if you have implemented it in the right way. If you're not implementing it in the right way, then it's very difficult.""Its ITSM approach is quite useful."

Cons
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM could improve by being more user-friendly and having a better design. I have used Service Desk and it is not user-friendly but this solution is worse. The graphical interface is not intuitive, you need someone to guide you or you will have difficulties navigating around to find the file you need. The data we are normally dealing with is boring enough and the interface could be more attractive and more exciting. The tabs and arrangement could be done better to be more user-friendly. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are fine and Microsoft should extend their user-friendliness and intuitiveness to Microsoft Dynamics.""Microsoft Dynamics CRM is operational enough, in terms of frequency, but an area for improvement would be its dashboard. Currently, it's widget-like, so hopefully, it could be improved, particularly to allow you to create a custom dashboard using a query. A custom dashboard would make the solution better and is an additional feature I'd like to see in the next release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM because right now, it only has a default dashboard, but maybe my account has limited access, so I can only see the default version of the dashboard.""Microsoft Dynamics could have better note-taking capabilities. It should have more preset options where you enter notes by clicking a box instead of writing them out.""Dynamics could perform a little better, and it would be nice to save the filters I use frequently, so I don't need to do the same thing every day.""It could be less complicated for smaller organizations.""The manufacturing module could be improved. I would like to see customization in the next release.""Microsoft Dynamics CRM can improve the integration with the other system. If they have more flexibility to connect with another system it will be more effective.""Microsoft Dynamics CRM's customer support could be improved as tickets usually take a long time to resolve."

More Microsoft Dynamics CRM Cons →

"The product should be capable of delivering complex reports as per company requirements without the need for a Tableau license.""One minor drawback is that its implementation requires some preparation. It's not something you can implement instantly; it takes time. The only issue I've encountered is that you need to ensure the implementation is done properly, which can be time-consuming. So, it requires some time and attention.""The pricing for what Salesforce Service Cloud offers is not great.""The product's high price is an area of concern where improvements are required.""The pricing of the solution can be made cheaper.""I'm not deeply engaged with this team, so I don't have extensive experience with it. As you mentioned, I haven't used it much yet, so my experience is limited.""The integrations with other solutions can be improved.""Salesforce should include maps as a default offering so that, as a customer, I can view where the technician is on the geographical map."

More Salesforce Service Cloud Cons →

"An operator is also a user but requires creating two different records.""It is time-consuming to add new users.""This solution is modular so you only buy what you need, but I prefer what some companies are doing where they include everything in the package.""Change management implementation, facility management, and making reservations on assets can be improved.""One of the disadvantages of TOPdesk is the reporting tool. It is very poor and not in real-time. You do not always receive the correct information.""All companies have processes that need to be adjusted. When you have a change, you need to name it, and many companies have a set of changes you can use. It would be helpful if there were more space in TOPdesk to name the change or use metadata to record the kinds of changes.""The solution's change management could be better.""If I open a ticket on the infrastructure team, I can't move it to the financial team for them to manage the ticket."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "We have to buy a separate license in order to implement the social listening feature."
  • "It's kind of pricey. It's about $50 or $60 per user."
  • "I am not the person who pays for Microsoft Dynamics CRM but it is expensive. I have been using Microsoft Azure, which Microsoft Dynamics CRM is built on, and I know we prepaid for the services. For me as a consumer, I do not think I can afford it, mainly because I am only learning how to use the AI and the rate which they charge is high. In general, Microsoft solutions are expensive and this is most likely due to the brand, this is something you expect. However, the price might be high but you receive a highly secure solution."
  • "There is a license required to use Microsoft Dynamics CRM."
  • "The price of the solution is good but could be cheaper."
  • "We have a three-year ELA with all our Microsoft solutions and often we had to do a true-up which was approximately $1,000,000. Additionally, we pay approximately $2,500 a month for support."
  • "Pricing for this software could be cheaper."
  • "The solution is open source and is free. However, it does require a Dynamics 365 subscription."

  • "I believe that in our country, Colombia, we utilize this platform for the Latin American region. In terms of expenses, it's somewhat higher compared to other products. I would rate it as expensive and nine out of ten."
  • "Salesforce is not a cheap product. It can be expensive."
  • "The price is too expensive."
  • "We pay a yearly licensing fee for Salesforce Service Cloud, which is expensive."
  • "The tool is pretty expensive."
  • "The product is expensive. There is a need to make yearly payments towards the licensing costs attached to the product."
  • "The licensing is flexible. Companies pay for what they use. However, a company with very small needs might find it difficult to justify the cost. Overall, it's in the medium price range."
  • More Salesforce Service Cloud Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "The cost of the solution on a yearly basis is $20,000. Technical support is not extra. It's included in the yearly cost. Updates are also included. The solution is good at keeping its product up to date."
  • "Compared to other products in this segment, I think that they are priced well and not too expensive."
  • "There are three fee options to choose from for a company and these options compared to market prices are very high. For example, if I use one of the first options for 10 assets, then it costs 20,000 Euros. If you went to competitors, then you pay less."
  • "The solution is inexpensive compared to competitors."
  • "TOPdesk's pricing is cheaper than Jira's."
