"It is easy to implement but requires good planning.""Monitoring infrastructure and business applications are the most valuable features.""It is very scalable.""The benefit is easy installation. Thus, the model approach of the product and out-of-the-box probes, which deliver direct value.""It's easy to push out across numerous servers. Very scalable.""Latest version of tool comes integrated with Jaspersoft reporting solution, giving excellent reports.""Probe packages and probe deployment.""It gives us visibility inside applications. It helps us to dig down and find the root cause of any issue within the network."

"The most valuable feature is the graphical-based reports of software updates that have been successful, the ones that have failed, and a summary of where the failures are what security breaches may occur.""Microsoft Configuration Manager helps with patch management.""The solution is highly scalable.""Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager is very scalable.""Patching is very effective and reporting is very good.""The most valuable feature of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager is patch management.""The ease of usability is the most valuable feature. It's user-friendly.""The most valuable feature of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager is it's incredibly simple to configure and execute changes in bulk, allowing for seamless deployment. "It was easy to access and fast. Our experience using it solely as a ticketing tool. We used fetch reports from the tool, particularly with regard to SLA tracking for our partners.""The most valuable feature is remote access. People are working from home, and we can take remote access through it.""SummitAI IT Management Suite's chat box feature has reduced our service discount, and because it's intelligent, the responses that go out to the users have improved, and the resolutions are much faster.""The product has the best features for ITSM."

Cons
"We would like the navigation of this solution to be more user friendly for our system administrators.""Stability.""We've had issues with pulling reports.""It needs a little bit more functionality in the Admin Console.""The other element is that there are no real templates, out of the box. Let's go with an example where we do have the probe, which is great, and we do have a really nuanced customer with a small set of devices that maybe not a lot of other customers use. There might not be a template in place, so effectively we have the tool in front of us but we still need to develop a solution. So it would be really nice to see a little bit more of something like a central repository of templates that we could use. That would help us expedite our onboarding process.""Making a GUI with criteria such as selection by robot/hub/probe etc.""Currently lacks a mobile application which would be helpful.""The UIM has no features through goods and services yet. "

More DX Unified Infrastructure Management Cons →

"The App to upgrades to the server needs to be improved.""On some hardware, we'd like an easier way to get peripherals attached.""They need to improve the support for the Mac operating system.""In terms of the monitoring, the timeframe it takes to actually report back on the compliance of a device after it has been patched is a bit too long.""The downside of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager is it's an on-premise-based solution. With the pandemic coming on board the need to support users across the globe has increased. For a while, we would use the in-built Microsoft Teams screen sharing feature but the disadvantage of that is you cannot perform privileged access. Microsoft does not give you access to that. That's where you need cloud-based tools, such as BeyondTrust or Freshservice.""The operations could be faster and you need some patience with this tool.""We'd like the solution to make it easier to manage remote users.""There is no asset management package included."

More Microsoft Configuration Manager Cons →

"SummitAI IT Management Suite's project management and operational management features could be improved.""I would like them to add software inventory in the next release. We don't have that right now.""Integration was a major limitation with SummitAI.""There could be flexibility in terms of customization."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "This product is expensive compared to other vendors (SolarWinds, ManageEngine)."
  • "The product-price ratio is better than other brands such as Fortinet or SonicWall."
  • "The license cost depends on the number of probes and robots."
  • "Reasonable setup cost and licensing prices."
  • "CAD $400,000 annually."
  • "Customers pay for the license and the support."
  • "Pricing for DX Unified Infrastructure Management isn't cheap at all. It's a complex tool, so you have to pay more. No one is happy with a large bill to pay, but if it's a complex product and you designed a complex solution to be monitored, it'll be your fault that you need to buy an expensive product, and that would be implicit in the design of DX Unified Infrastructure Management. Monitoring is just a small part of it. Sometimes you have to pay a significant amount of money for a complex yet very good solution."

  • "Pricing and licensing are horrible. You have to not look at dollar value to use SCCM. It's super-duper expensive but it works. The acquisition cost is expensive, it's labor-intensive. But it works."
  • "Pricing and licensing are a downside of SCCM. It's expensive. I'd have to confirm this, but I think they changed the licensing to core-based instead of socket-based. It's not cheap, because you have to buy the software, you have to buy SQL. Another thing we learned from talking to Microsoft is that they provide you a license for SQL if you run it on the same box as the primary server. If you run it outside that box, you have to buy SQL. Microsoft does recommend you running it on the same box because of performance. But then, in order to run SQL, SCCM, and everything on the same box, you better have some resources. It's an expensive solution. There's no doubt about it."
  • "Overall, I think it's fine. It's pretty much in-line because there are ways to offset it with the Office 365 licensing."
  • "SCCM comes with its own version of SQL Server. If you use that SQL Server with SCCM and don't use it for another applications than you get an SQL Server for free."
  • "The licensing is good because they have various options, depending on what you are looking for."
  • "Pricing is negotiable with Microsoft, depending upon which of their packages you choose."
  • "When you compare this solution with other tools in the market you might actually find a lot of variation in the pricing and that's why people opt for the other tools rather than Microsoft tools."
  • "Its price is okay because it is part of our licensing."

  • "We have a regular license."
  • "SummitAI IT Management Suite's pricing is a bit expensive."
  • "The product's cost is average."
