We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It's very easy to use. Provides connections that are always on. It was nice to be able to see a list of end-points and see whether or not they were connected so I could troubleshoot any network issues I had.""I do love the monitoring page. If you are using ConnectWise Control, which is the on-prem version, when you are logged into the admin panel, there is a status page that checks network connectivity, the status of the license, and so on.""The initial setup is fairly straightforward.""Due to the fact that we can help our clients virtually, the solution has allowed us to reduce our travel costs by about 90%.""We like the fact that on our website we can have the ConnectWise bit embedded, and it has instructions for the end-user about what they need to do. Previously, on LogMeIn, we used to have to almost talk them through everything... ConnectWise has step-by-step instructions, depending on the browser.""The unattended access functionality is a valuable feature, because I can go in at any time that I want, deploy fixes, or do maintenance.""The product is really easy to deploy.""It's very easy to use, very easy to understand. It gives us remote access to the PC without any issues."

"We were able to build our own customer portal and integrate into GoToWebinar with a seamless interface.""All of their features are good. They are more or less equivalent to the competition. There's less disturbance, less jitter, the voice is always good even at a low bandwidth.""I can extract the activity and the attendance reports, along with every single question that was asked during the webinar, which is a feature that we highly value.""The interface is browser-based and simple, which is an advantage over other solutions.""This solution is very reliable. It is easy to switch between audio and microphone when using headphones."

More GoToWebinar Pros →

"We use Webex for virtual meetings.""One of the most valuable features of Webex was that it was easy to use and there were no hassles.""The most valuable features are video conferencing, the integration with Outlook, and scheduling meetings.""I have found Webex to be stable.""We can easily connect the device and create a room and then we can call many devices.""The most valuable feature of Webex is if you are using the Cisco hardware it is simple to integrate. Additionally, it can integrate well with mobile devices.""It is user-friendly.""Integrates well with other Cisco solutions."

Cons
"There is one back-end issue that I am running into at some of locations where I login to provide support, and sometimes port 443 is blocked. That is what it uses to connect. So, I am having to do workarounds to get a session started.""The solution is a little bit complicated when you want to implement it.""Reporting could definitely use improvement. With LogMeIn Rescue, I used to be able to, for instance, at the end of the month, pull off a report of every session. It was very simple... I could see the name that was typed in, the IP address to the computer that it was connected to, if it was running Windows... It just doesn't seem - there might be but I haven't found it - to be a way of pulling that information out of ConnectWise.""There is an issue which is pretty rare, but I find it at least when connecting from my mobile device. I am forced to refresh the screen by changing the screen quality to get screen updates. This only happens sometimes.""For my company, just installing the software and using it is very easy. But if I need to give one of my customers access to their machines, the process that you have to go through is some 15 to 20 steps. You have to create a group, and then you have to assign a policy. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to set up someone for remote access to their own machine.""If it had Chrome capability, that would be great; being able to use it on a Chrome device. Right now, I can't use it on my Chrome device.""The solution should add the ability to video chat with the user on the other end.""Speed is a major factor in Automate, and the control panel is horribly slow."

More ConnectWise ScreenConnect Cons →

"The platform feels old and a little rusty, more could be invested into the look and feel of it.""GoToWebinar would be improved with the inclusion of support for video endpoints.""The sharing of cameras is limited to meeting organizers.""The chat window and using polls is easier in Zoom than compared to GoToWebinar. Make it simpler and easier to publish polls on the fly would improve the solution.""Some of my friends also use GoToWebinar to collect clients for affiliate marketing. In those cases, they found some features were missing with respect to some of the competition. And the worst part is the price."

More GoToWebinar Cons →

"The performance of WebEx could be improved. If you're using it on a mobile device and on the laptop, you sometimes get glitches, where you've answered the call or joined a meeting on a laptop and your mobile device doesn't quite know what's going on. It may just be technical glitches, but it seems to be a bit shaky sometimes on mobile devices.""Webex is a very demanding application, so it requires a very heavy bandwidth.""It would be great if they had a directory that you could consult for the meeting dial-in numbers.""Webex could improve the calling feature. It would be helpful to be able to call outside the IP environment.""They should integrate the solution with multiple hardware vendors.""Better integration with other solutions would benefit Webex.""There are too many issues with getting people connected to meetings.""This solution would be much better if we could install an endpoint and have centralized management."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Good price and works well."
  • "Their licensing model is good, their pricing model is good, their service is good; bandwidth is excellent. They're consistent."
  • "I think the product's pricing is a good value. I paid $600 a year and that was fine for me. It was about $50 a month. Licensing is all very straightforward."
  • "It is priced well and it is still a great value. Although I have been reading a lot about Splashtop. They are getting pretty competitive on their pricing, including a fairly easy to use remote support for mobile applications, like iOS and Android."
  • "Pricing is fair for Control and the licensing is simple."
  • "The cloud version is relatively inexpensive, but the on-premise version is expensive if you do not need three technicians, only one or two for concurrent sessions."
  • "It is priced fairly."
  • "Make sure you have enough licensing for all the techs that you have."

  • "It is a monthly subscription and the price is quite expensive if you're not paying annually."
  • "This is a free solution."
  • More GoToWebinar Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "I have recently switched to a different solution. WebEx is more costly. There are equivalent solutions at a lower cost."
  • "The price of the license depends a lot on the type of service required and whether it is for the entire company or only for a few users."
  • "Licensing is subscription-based and the cost varies depending on how many minutes are included in the plan."
  • "The pricing of this solution is fine and I am satisfied with it."
  • "Price is the one area where Webex needs to improve relative to its competitors. It's difficult to sell to small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) because of the license price."
  • "I believe the license to be monthly."
  • "There are no licensing fees."
  • "The price of the license for the solution could be less expensive."
