We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"We've built several AI ML solutions and done lots of work on the GPUs available on Amazon servers. We did a lot of work around web spidering, natural language processing, and machine learning or deep learning workloads.""The technical support is good.""This solution is a good option if you are looking for cloud-based storage. Using a cloud-based solution, it is not required to accommodate a full workload. You can start with a basic version and scale up as needed.""Amazon AWS contains a lot of helpful services.""I am very impressed by the solution's stability.""Very good automation and very stable.""AWS is known for its scalable cloud hosting and computing services. We use various features depending on our needs, including endpoint services, database instances, and EC2 instances.""The availability is good, you can get any service you need immediately."

"The tool's most valuable aspect is the account management side. This involves tasks such as assigning credentials to different individuals, managing user accounts, and implementing Privileged Access Management.""With Microsoft Azure, we have a platform that lets us easily deploy applications to the cloud.""The performance is good.""The solution is very stable for Windows setups.""I have found the solution to be flexible, easy to use, and the documents are straightforward to understand.""The solution has high stability.""I come from the DBA side so for me it's the easy maintenance; backups are very easy as well.""Microsoft Azure has a large scope, it can do many things."

More Microsoft Azure Pros →

"Its stability, performance, and usability are most valuable.""We also use Salesforce to find trends to make informed decisions in terms of events and marketing campaigns.""I found the ease of use most valuable in the Salesforce Platform. I also found the platform pretty light.""It's very flexible and offers tremendous features for customers.""The solution can scale.""It was pretty easy to deploy.""What I like about the Salesforce Platform, in particular, its enterprise edition is that apart from its many features, you can have a wider view of the customers, a 360-degree view. I also enjoy managing opportunities in the Salesforce Platform a lot because it's easier and gives you a wider view, compared to HubSpot.""It is a fairly useful and user-friendly tool for salespersons. It is very extensive and flexible. You can customize it for your needs, and you can use whatever you want. I like Salesforce."

Cons
"In terms of improvement, they should try to give more emphasis to the VoIP system.""The solution can get to be a little expensive.""The cost of the product is an area of concern where improvements are required.""They are mainly generalists without access to the operating system. As such, they can provide container level insights, not necessarily at the application level.""AWS for API, or Seller Central, is no improvement from what we had (our internal tools we designed to update accounts, change customer network profiles, monitoring, MRTG graphs, etc), when AWS should be blazing.""The solution is pretty mature.""Like anything, Amazon AWS has room for improvement, but it's not bad.""Monitoring still needs to be improved."

More Amazon AWS Cons →

"I would like to see improved migration tools. It is improving week by week. They just need to make sure that they keep up with the new functionality provided in other clouds.""When we are doing transfers of records in large amounts, for example, petabytes of data or few long datasets, the performance should not degrade as it does.""There needs to be better data security. There are organizations that do not want their data to be submitted to Microsoft, they should have strong encryption.""Microsoft should have one package for all their solutions in one place to be found.""If you compare it with AWS, it is not very friendly to use. I find the UI better to work with on AWS.""There are many bugs in the solutions and we already have a ticket to Microsoft. Their content team is working on that.""I would say an improvement could be allowing for more external, third-party tools. However, I think that's their vision, how they develop the product.""The solution should improve the shared cache. For the shared cache, Microsoft uses RADIUS third-party services. We have a lot of trouble with RADIUS and I suppose that is due to the fact that is not owned completely by Microsoft."

More Microsoft Azure Cons →

"Salesforce needs to be re-platformed, or re-architected, making it lighter.""The management of Salesforce could be quite a task. Old and unusable contacts can add up over time. If I could wave a magic wand, it would be to initiate a self-cleaning feature.""It would be better if they can add more from the pricing and functionality perspective. It is very expensive. I would be more than happy if they drop the prices. From the licensing perspective, if they can add more functionality, I would be more than happy.""The integration of Salesforce with other solutions could be improved.""I don't have any notes for improvement. It serves us well.""It is quite expensive. It has gotten to that point where it is a lot more pricey. It has kind of got its own proprietary language for development. It is probably never going to change, but if it had a more market language for development, it would be easier to find developers. They come at a premium cost, so it is expensive.""It does need very specific resources to help deploy it and buy in from the users. It's one of those items it's pretty disruptive and if it's not deployed properly and if it doesn't get utilized efficiently, it won't be effective.""There is always room for improvement. It can be hard to learn, but when you have somebody who is experienced in this, it is like anything else. It is like Excel, you'll never know everything about Excel, but there's somebody who would possibly know. I'm sure I don't know all of the ins and outs of Salesforce."

Amazon Web Services, Rackspace OpenStack, Microsoft Windows Azure and Google are the major cloud hosting and storage service providers. Athough Amazon is top of them and is oldest in cloud market, Rackspace, Microsoft and Google are giving tough competition to each other and to Amazon also for alluring IT customers. This article give brief history of these cloud hosting service providers and compares the cloud services provided by them. -- Amazon Web Services -- It's hard to find someone who doesn't agree that Amazon Web Services is the market leader in IaaS cloud computing. The company has one of the widest breadths of cloud services - including compute, storage, networking, databases, load balancers, applications and application development platforms all delivered as a cloud service. Amazon has dropped its prices 21 times since it debuted its cloud six years ago and fairly consistently fills whatever gaps it has in the size of virtual machine instances on its platform - the company recently rolled out new high-memory instances, for example. There are some cautions for Amazon though. Namely, its cloud has experienced three major outages in two years. One analyst, Jillian Mirandi of Technology Business Researcher, has suggested that continued outages could eventually start hindering businesses' willingness to invest in Amazon infrastructure. That sentiment gets to a larger point about AWS though - the service seems to be popular in the startup community, providing the IT… Read more →
